Rolling over onto my back, I finally opened my eyes. There goes another night of trouble sleeping. Maybe I should start meditating or something. Rubbing my eyes, I yawned as I tried getting rid of all my tiredness.
Finally pulling the covers off of me, I got out of bed and made my way to my bathroom. I looked in the mirror and gasped as I looked at my reflection. My hair was all over the place, looking like I got electrocuted.
I brushed my teeth and took a shower to wake myself up. Nevertheless, I would find myself thinking about Cyen now and then. He seriously has beautiful green eyes. I feel like staring at them. I also remember how his deep voice when we talked the night before. I truly get why women throw themselves at him. I mean he is hot as hell.
Just then, mom came into my room, bringing me out of my thoughts. "Good morning mom," I said as I was looking for an outfit in my closet. "Good morning honey," she said as she placed a kiss on my cheek. "So since you are not working anymore and I know you want another job, I called your cousin Stephan and he said that there is a vacancy for a manager for his restaurant 'Constance' ," she said excitedly.
"Really," I said as I jumped with joy. "Yea and you can start whenever you want. It's beside his company. You guys would be able to spend more time together now," she said. I couldn't help but smile as I was so happy knowing that I would be able to time with one of my favorite cousin now.
"Okay then mom, I'll call him and I'll go meet him today itself," I said not being able to hold in how happy I truly was. Stephan is actually my mom's nephew and he is a self made billionaire. We always were very close when we were little but then when we got to university, we ended up going our separate ways. But we were still in contact and would talk to each other now and then.
With all the work load that he has now, he didn't really have time to hang out with me that much and now that I will be only walking distance away from him, I am sure that we will be seeing each other more often.
Mom left my room so that I could get ready for the day. I was genuinely over the moon just thinking that I will be seeing Stephan after so long.
I took my phone and dialed his number. Putting it on speaker, I placed the phone on the shelf of my closet while waiting for him to pick up. Just after two rings, he picked up.
"Hey how's our new manager doing," he said as he picked up. "Hey Stephan. Well thanks for the job," I said as I put on my clothes. "Oh not a problem. That's what family is for. Anyways what's new," he asked as I brushed my hair.
"Nothing much. Hey let's go out for lunch. We can catch up then," I said and he agreed before hanging up. Fixing my tube top. I stare at my reflection. "Okay I look nice," I said to myself as I smoothed my hair. I then joined my parents who were waiting for me to have breakfast.

A few hours passed by as I was helping dad to sort the documents in his study. "Blair I heard Stephan is giving you a job in his restaurant," dad said as he continued to study the papers. "Yes dad, it would be a good experience and I will be able to know how to operate restaurants and then we can build our own," I said.
"Okay well in the mean time I will be looking for a suitable plot of land to start the restaurant," dad said as he gave me a smile. "We will have the most known restaurant chain dad. I promise," I said as I meant every word. "Thank you Blair, but I am the parent and it pains me to see you having to work like that for us. Maybe I should-" he said but I cut him off.
"Daddy, don't worry. I want to do it," I said as I heard him sigh. "Please don't be hard on yourself," I told him as placed a kiss on my forehead. "I love you, mi amore," dad said as he hugged me. "I love you too dad," I said as I hugged him back.
A few minutes later, I left the house and drove to see my cousin which was a thirty minutes' drive. As I reached his building, I drove into the underground parking lot and parked my car. Then I made my way to the reception.
Ten minutes later, I was now at the door of Stephan's office. Knocking on the door with the plate CEO, I heard him say come in. "Your day just got better because your favorite person in the world just showed up," I said as I pushed the door open.
As soon as he saw me, he got up from his chair and ran to me and engulfed me in a tight hug. "Blair, it's so good to see you," he said as he pulled away from the hug and placed a kiss on my cheek. "I missed you brother," I said as I squeezed his cheeks. "Hey not the face, I can't disappoint the ladies," he said wiggling his brows.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes at him. "Now why don't we go and get lunch. I am starving," he said as he closed his laptop. I agreed with him. So now we are headed to his restaurant which is just across from his company.
"So when do you want to start," he asked as he pushed the door open for me. "Tomorrow would be nice," I said as I got in. It always mesmerize me how beautiful this place is whenever I come here.

"Yea that can be arranged. Your office will be on the first floor. I'll give you a tour later," he said as we took a seat. The waiter seem to be a little agitated as they saw Stephan. "Hello sir, ma'am, here is the menu," the waiter said timidly as he he handed us the menu. He seemed scared of Stephan.
The waiter left us as we were deciding what to eat. After ordering, I looked up to see Stephan sipping on his wine. "You seem to be scaring all your employees," I asked him as I chuckled. "Well my dear sister, you need to look scary for people to respect you and not think to mess with you," he said. I nodded at his statement. "Well I guess," I said as I sipped on my wine.
"Oh I almost forgot. Um I am getting married," I said as I looked at him. He gasped he heard my words. "You are getting married. To whom? So suddenly," he said looking very suspicious. "Yea his name is Cyen. I'll introduce you to him soon. I am sure you guys will be getting along nicely," I said as I thought of how they both intimidate everyone.
"We will see if he is worthy of being your future husband," he said seriously. "Don't worry Stephan," I said as the waiter came and placed our delicious food on our table. "Dude you have the best dishes ever," I said as I smelled the aroma of the food. "We always do things to perfection, Blair," he said before grabbing his fork.
