Khushi was a bit afraid of Arnav insulting her again or worse causing some physical harm but Anjali had assured her of Aman's intervention, if things got to that level. She promised that no harm would come to her and baby. Khushi herself wanted to see if Arnav had humanity left in him. A tiny part of her really wanted to have that precious, rare moment of telling him, "Aap Papa banane wale ho"("You are going to become father"). She knew it was pathetic of her. But heart wants what it wants. On a serious note, she had realised that this had to be done, the sooner the better. It ia practically impossible to hide baby from him. He ll come to know about it sooner or later and she was not equipped nor ready to face his power in that circumstances. It was better to inform him now itself. And somewhere she had a wrong belief in her mind that Arnav won't make a scene before his staff atleast, when they had no idea of what all had happened. Taking a deep breath, Khushi stepped out of the cab and entered AR.

Arnav instantly felt her. She was here! But why will she come here? That too after so many days. Dismissing it as imagination of his useless, idle mind, he tried to divert it to the file before him. But again the f**king memory booted up as soon as her named popped. He could not stop himself from getting lost in past, remembering the sweet moments he had spent with her. What a fuc*ed up s*it his memory is? Has to make efforts to remember her wrong-doings of hiding so many things from him but has no qualms in effortlessly recalling these useless stupid meaningless stuff!!

He actually did zero work these days. Busy in these stupid memories. Was he going to write a f**king thesis on their moments? Pulling himself out of rubbish thoughts and closing his eyes, he leaned back on his seat and reminded himself once more that he hated her to the core.

Aag Lage Us Aag Ko, Mann Bhi Tarjo Ubale
Har Din Bale, Pal Chin Bale
Par Teri Yaad Na Jale
Par Teri Yaad Na Jale
Thode Se Bhi Na Chhute
Phir Bhi Takdeerein
Phir Akadpan Teer Chale, Chal Chalti Lakeerein
Hati Si Hatt Ti Na Yeh Tadpan Bin Tere
Dajj Dajj Laakh Meri De Rang Samele
Rangeele Rang Rasiya Mere
Sabhi They Mere Rang Sang Tere

What if he had asked his security guards to not allow her entry? Putting negative thoughts aside, she took a deep breath and entered AR. Jo hoga dekha jayega.(She'll face whatever happens) Surprisingly guards wished her warmly at the gates but she didn't have time or guts to make a small talk like older times. She excused herself after wishing them back in her usual chirpy style. She went to the reception and asked about Arnav from receptionist, who again smilingly informed Mrs. Raizada that boss 's free till 2 pm. She was right, no one here knew about fiasco. Well, one hour would be more than sufficient time to have any discussion about baby, she thought. She then met Aman who promised her of her and baby's safety with even gurads on standby for any help. He would keep his eyes on Arnav's cabin and assured that he won't listen to their talk. Khushi was very thankful to him.

With his encouragement, she carefully climbed the stairs, her hand covering her belly out of habit now. Motherly instincts! She knocked at the door and entered inside after a faint 'come in'. Arnav's eyes were closed, head at the backrest. He must be relaxing after back to back meetings. Devil was a robot, she knew. When Khushi cleared her throat to get his attention, Arnav quickly opened his eyes realizing it was her. He hadn't forgotten anything, not even something so trivial as the sound she makes when she clears her throat. Bet, he had tried hard...very hard and failed.

He was seeing her after 2 months and 12 days. He could not believe his eyes, she was really before him not his imagination. So, Madam finally decided to grace him with her presence! His eyes roamed all over her, drinking in her features. She looked least affected by him.She had not bothered to look him in the eye, not even once. The sadist in him tried to find anything which indicated that she had faced hell without him, that she missed him, she wept all night for him. She longed for him as he yearned for her. His eyes hardened when he noticed that she looked different. She had some different kind of glow, not a hint of guilt or shame. She infact looked calm and happy. Not a hint of sadness was there in her eyes. Oh! So she was f**king enjoying her life without him! This rubbed salt on his wounds all over again. How can she be happy when he is dying everyday? What right does she have? She destroyed his life dammit!
