I would really not like to get involved in a messy legal battle, though I am completely habitual of visiting Courts owing to my job. Case may run inconclusive for years but you ll feel copying was not worth the trouble of showing up in Delhi every now and then. I wont have qualms coz its my hometown.
You like some idea, want to use it, ask me first or face the consequences.Don't give me inspiration and all crap. In India, cases especially civil suits are longer stretched than criminal ones. So lets pray things don't go there if ot turns out to be true. And don't be in an illusion that you can copy my work sitting far away in another country or here in India itself. I suggest whoever dares to do that to please go through the Copyrights Act, 1957. In short, India is part of WPPT since December,2013. So you are not safe here or there. Also don't think that since I dont read stories here, I wont get to know things. You are a writer my dear and people here read many stories. Don't think that by no voting, no following, you ll go undetected. Also, things like your history as a good, original writer; n number of stories in your tally, huge number of followers, supporters are things immaterial in Court. They simply don't count.
So, the summary is don't copy however shitty you may claim my story to be. I know I sound funny/non-serious kind, most of the times. But who knows that's just a false cloak darling!
I know it was some heavy talk and some of readers may even scoff that you dont write that great and all. Even if I write poorly, even then copying it, is a crime, a slap on my efforts. Readers should report such things dutifully just like one has done. Thanks dear (concerned person knows)
