Not proofread. I apologize for mistakes beforehand. Time is constrained like hell! I will edit all chapters in end.

This song is essential part of this chapter. Lyrics have translation in video itself. Play this song while reading chapter. It is intense and a very fine piece of music.

Arnav woke up next morning to find Aarav sprawled over him and Khushi not in bed. He carefully brought his son's hand near his face, inspected his fingers to find them better from last night just like the bump on his own forehead. He kissed each finger and gently laid him down in centre, ensuring that pillows protected him from all four sides and he set the side rails as precaution. Arnav checked the time, it was 10. She must be have left for University.

His POV

They had returned late from hospital around 12 , only after all every single test came out fine. He had to put his foot down when everyone suggested him to stay there atleast for a day. He had only bumped his head for heaven's sake!! And already wasted five hours in that damned hospital! He had more pressing matters to take care of. His wife was all harried and his son had burnt fingers!!

He was hell worried for Khushi after Di told him how Aarav had got injured. He remembered how he himself had gone frantic and checked Aarav repeatedly. First Khushi and now Aarav. They were both hell bent on giving him heart attacks. Aarav's painful whimpers pierced his heart and he promised himself that he ll never ever go careless with his health whatever be the circumstances. He had somehow comforted his baby but what about Khushi? All this must have shattered her already injured self. He had no clue about what to do. Should he be insanely happy that she finally realized that she loves him so much or feel guilty that she forgot even Aarav for him? What he would have done in such situation, he didnt even want to think. They were both already injured in his carelessness. He had requested Di to get her wounds cleaned and dressed as he knew she wont even come inside the room now. He cringed remembering that 'idiotic not so required' joke and the slap! Gosh! He really needs to think before speaking. He was not sure how he would have dealt with all this, had he been in her place.

She had come inside all cleaned up after sometime, trying to look all normal but her inner torment was clearly visible in her tired, red rimmed eyes. He felt as though she had gathered herself to take care of him but in reality was hanging by a barely there thread. The realization must have hit her hard. He had first hand experience how tormenting it can be. That feeling of helplessness, frustration, powerlessness. Ignoring her glares, he got himself discharged after drip was removed. He can rest at home too, in confines of their room. He wanted to console her, be there for her in this inner battle. They needed each other to heal their wounds and nothing else!!

But when had things ever gone as per his plans? No scratch that. When had this particular woman ever agreed with him? Never!! Khushi starting her cold treatment as soon as they sat in the car, for not agreeing to stay back at hospital and for getting her vaccinated for tetanus. Was she five? He was tempted to ask. Someone please pull at his hairs coz his hands were busy in his usual tight fist formation. Breathe in, breathe out Arnav. Yes,you can do it. You know your wife is a stubborn fool. Hehe.. Chill! Relax!!

***************

Khushi went to temple instead of university. She was just too conflicted to be in right frame of mind and do something productive in her research. Temple has always been her place for contemplation. And she was confused like hell! Her system had been wrecked in this storm. She has lost control over herself, over her feelings.
