Bonus Chapter

Hindi ko mapigilan ang mapaluha habang tinitignan ko ang gumuhong library. This is my favorite library because this is the place where Thymus and I first met. Gumuho ito dahil sa malakas na lindol last week. I also heard one of the faculty members that they will not try to rebuild it dahil masyadong madami ang gagastusin.

"Hush now, babe." Thymus coeed me.

Naiinis ko siyang pinalo sa dibdib kaya napaatras siya.

"Why would I stop? You see gumuho 'tong library. Not just a library. My favorite library huhu."

He gently dragged me and kissed me on my forehead. 

"I know. Don't worry pagagawan kita ng maraming library if that's what you want."

Tumingala ako at piningot siya sa tenga. Bakit hindi niya ako magets!?

"Ayoko ng maraming library. I only want this library! Ang dami dami mo namang pera so why don't you invest or donate here and convince the faculty to build this library again?"

"Damn, it hurts babe. Alright. I'll see what I can do. Kanina umiiyak ka lang tapos ngayon naging bayolente ka na. Hindi ka naman ganyan noon." Reklamo niya habang hinihimas ang kinurot ko.

"Nagrereklamo ka na!?" I glared at him.

"Syempre..hindi. Let's go home. Madilim na."

Naabutan namin ang mommy at daddy ni Thymus na naguusap pero agad akong nilapitan ni mommy ng makita kami.

"Hija, ginabi kayo?" 

"She became emotional when she learned that the old library of her former school collapsed. Kaya pinuntahan namin." Si Thymus ang sumagot.

"Really? Nakakalungkot nga 'yon." Mama looked at me with sympathy.

Now that they mentioned the library again, naiiyak na naman ako. Huhuhu!

"That's my favorite library ma. Doon po kasi kami unang nagkita ni Thymus."

Mama hugged me when she saw the tears that are threatening to fall.

"She's crying again?"

Nairita ako sa tono ni Thymus kaya hinubad ko ang isang doll shoes ko at akmang babatuhin siya pero agad siyang nakatakbo. Ugh! kanina niya pa ako binubwisit!

"Ma, kausapin mo nga 'yang asawa ko. She's very moody this past few days." Rinig kong sigaw niya mula sa malayo.

I heard papa laughed but said nothing.

"Napansin ko din 'yon anak. You've been very moody at kung ano-anong pagkain ang pinapabili mo kay Thymus lately. Are you pregnant?"

Nagpantig ang tenga ko sa narinig. Oh my God! Buntis ako?

"Magkaka-apo na ba ako?" Papa stood up from his seat.

"Excited? Tinatanong ko nga 'tong si Louis." Natatawang sagot ni mama.

Oo nga pala. Hindi pa ako dinadatnan. Walang delay ang menstruation ko. Does this mean...

"Let's go to my room. We will check if my hunch is right. May mga nakatagong pregnancy kit sa drawer ko."

Nanginginig ang tuhod kong sinundan si mama. I don't know what to feel right now.

She handed me a pregnancy test and I took it with trembling hands. 

"Just follow the procedures anak." She kindly smiled at me and motioned to go inside the washroom.

After I read the procedures, I peed on it. Matapos ang ilang segundo ay nanlumo ako sa naging resulta. Binuksan ko ang pinto at niyakap agad si mama. Tinignan niya ang PT.

"Congratulations."

Masayang ibinalita ni mama kay papa ang resulta pagkababa namin mula sa kwarto.

"I knew it. Wala pang isang taon kayong kasal pero may apo na agad ako. Sharp shooter talaga ang mga Deveraturda." Papa's laugh boomed at the every corner of the house.

"Now that you're pregnant, you should be extra careful."

I nodded my head. "Yes ma."

"Who's pregnant?"

Napatingin ako sa nakakunot-noong si Thymus.

"Ma, who's pregnant?" He repeated.

"I'm so proud of you son. Nabulls eye mo." Humalakhak muli si papa.

"What? Anong nabulls eye ko?"

"Your wife is pregnant, Thymus."

Slow motion akong nilingon ni Thymus. I almost laughed because of his reaction.

"I-Is that true?"

I happily nodded my head. Tinawid niya ang distansya naming dalawa at niyakap ako ng mahigpit.

"Damn, so there's a little ghost in here?" He placed his hand on my tummy and gently caressed it.

Natatawang kinurot ko siya dahil sa sinabi niya.
"Jerk! Tao 'yan hindi multo."

"I'm sorry babe. Natuwa lang talaga ako. Thank you for bringing a little Thymus Niccolo Deveraturda." He said and claimed my lips with his.
