What was, in reality, mere hours since we left Conomi Island, felt like days. I stretch my arms towards the sky until I hear the satisfying sound of my back popping, before I hiss in pain at aggravating my bruises.
Everyone was taking advantage of the peace, just doing their own thing. I'm currently sitting in a lounge chair, sketching out new fashion ideas in one of my new custom made sketchbooks I put together with a hand-stitched embroidery on the cover while munching on some tangerines from some trees Nami brought from Bellemere's orchard.

The navigator is kind enough to pick a whole basket for me since the nutrients and vitamins in the little orange fruits are good for treating bruises. And they certainly were doing their job. My bruises are no longer the harsh dark bluish-purple they were before we left the village. Now they were a bit lighter in tone and color, but still a while from fully fading. But they aren't as noticeable as they were before. But luckily the bruises are on the left side of my face so my front bangs are long enough to cover the beaten area and avoid any unwanted attention.
