Narrator's POV

"Pepper!" Tony burst through his door.

Pepper turned to him. She was sitting on the couch, finally relaxing after having nothing to really do now. "Yes?" She asked.

"You were right." Tony said.

"Right? Right about what?" She asked, getting.

"I need a break." Tony said.

"Oh." Pepper said. "Where are you going?"

"I am going to Hawaii." Tony said.

"That's quite a distance. How long?" She asked.

"I don't know. Maybe a week?" Tony said. "Or do you think that's too long."

"No. No." Pepper said. "This is good. This is really good. You could really use the time."

"That's why I'm doing it." Tony said. "But I'm taking someone with me."

"Oh. Are you taking Rhodey?" Pepper asked.

"Uh, no." Tony said. "He won't let me bring a whole bottle of champagne on the private jet."

"Happy?" Pepper asked.

"No, he's always trying to cook healthy for me." Tony said.

"Me?" Pepper asked.

"Then who would run the company?" Tony asked.

"Oh, thank goodness." Pepper sighed in relief.  "Then who?" She asked.

"I was thinking about inviting a certain doctor." Tony said.

"I thought you said he was mad at you?" Pepper said.

"Well, I think his flying cape seems to like me." Tony said. "And if I can get his closet friend on my side, I ca-"

"He's best friend with a cape?" Pepper asked.

"Okay, it's not exactly a cape. It's like a magic cloak of some sort." Tony said. "He's had it since we were in school. It goes everywhere with him, and it never leaves his side."

"Oh?" Pepper said. "And how are you going to convince him to go with you?"

"Good question." Tony said. "I haven't thought of that yet."

"Maybe, I could talk to him about it." Pepper said.

Tony turned to her. "How are you going to talk to him about it? You don't really know him all that well." Tony said.

"No, but I know someone who does." Pepper said.

"Christine." Stephen laughed.

"What?" Christine asked, smiling.

The two were having lunch in the hospital cafeteria.

"I can't believe you actually did that." Stephen said.

"I had to." Christine said.

"That was really bad timing." Stephen said.

"And you have a better joke?" Christine asked.

"I do actually." Stephen told her. "What's a skeleton's favorite instrument?" He asked.

"I don't know. What is it?" She asked.

"A trom-bone." Stephen said.

"You are the worst." Christine laughed.

"Oh, come on. We're doctors." Stephen said.

Christine finished her laughing. "Are you going anywhere for vacation?" She asked.

"Hm?" Stephen looked up from his salad. "Vacation?"

"Yeah. It's summer. You get at least two weeks off." She said

"Hm." Stephen said. "When?" He asked.

"You could ask today and start tomorrow." Christine said.

"Well, would you like to go somewhere?" Stephen asked her.

"No, I'm planning on spending it with my family." She said. "But maybe you could ask another friend."

"I don't really have that many close friends here." Stephen said. "I might just spend it home and-"

"What about Anthony?" Christine asked.

Stephen raised a brow at her.

"I mean, don't you want to get close to him?" She asked. "You once told me you liked him. This might be the perfect time to get again."

"Oh no." Stephen said. "I tried that already, and it blew up on my face. There's no way I'm doing it again."

"You could really use a vacation Stephen. You spend more time here out of anyone." Christine said. "You deserve it."

"Maybe I will take a vacation, but not with that jerk." Stephen told her.

"Then who else? Are you gonna take the mailman with you?"

"Yes." Stephen said.

"Stop being so arrogant and go on a trip with him." Christine said.

"Ah, Pepper."

"Christine."

Both women came to greet each other.

Tony walked by Pepper's side.

Stephen was a little distance behind Christine, with his hand sin his pockets.

"So, where are they going?" Christine asked.

"Hawaii." Pepper said.

"Oh." Christen said. "Lucky them. Wish I could've gone instead."

"Don't worry. I have a girls night out planned." Pepper said.

The girls stepped aside to discuss some things.

Stephen and Tony came face to face.

"I hope you know I'm only doing this for Christine." Stephen told Tony.

"I'm only doing it for the cloak." Tony said.

The cloak snuck out of Stephen's pocket and stretched itself out.

"Ah, there he is." Tony smiled.

The cloak came up to Tony and spun around him, then placed itself on Tony's shoulders.

"Hey, it's like a hug you can wear." Tony smiled.

This was very comforting.

"Whatever." Stephen said, crossing his arms, secretly hiding a smile. He had to admit, Tony did look pretty cute in his cloak.

His small size made him seem like a child wrapped in blanket with the cloak.

"We gotta come up with a name for you besides cloak." Tony said.

The cloak flopped happily.

"Hm, how about Victor?" Tony asked. "No, no. How about Antonio?"

The cloak didn't seem that all that excited about that name.

"Okay, I need to work work on that." Tony said.

"Cloak." Stephen called.

The cloak got itself off of Tony and went back over to Stephen.

"So it's settled." Pepper said.

Christine and Pepper walked toward Stephen and Tony.

"We've schedule the flight for tomorrow. We will help you pack your things." Christine said.

"We better head home now Tony. I know how hard it is for you to get up in the morning." Pepper said. "You need to go bed early."

"And I'll go help Stephen pack. Being a doctor comes with the pro of getting up early." Christine said.

"I'll call you in the morning then." Pepper told Christine.

"Of course." Christine said.
