Narrator's POV

"Stephen, I can't. This...this is too much." Tony held his breath. "I can't go on any longer."

"Oh, quit being so dramatic." Stephen said. "Move aside." He said, pushing Tony aside and removing the dirty diaper from under Peter.

"I seriously don't know how you can do that." Tony said, gasping for air.

"He didn't even poop this time. He just peed." Stephen said.

"Yeah, but still." Tony said.

Stephen rolled his eyes, looking down at Peter with a smile.

Peter was moving his arms up and down, smiling at Stephen.

Stephen smiled at him as he powdered Peter's baby tush, then placed a new diaper on. "There." He said, picking Peter up. "Who's a happy baby?"

Peter giggled.

"You are." Stephen smiled and nuzzled Peter, rubbing their noses together.

Tony smiled at his boyfriend and the baby.

Stephen looked so happy with the little one.

Perhaps, Tony would give starting a family a second chance.

Tony's phone went off, interrupting his thoughts.

He read a text message from Natasha. "Um, Stephen. Steve called a meeting this morning. Can you watch Peter?"

Stephen looked back at Tony. "I can't. Wong needs me, but you can take him with you since it's just a meeting."

"Uh, no." Tony said. "Then everyone would know we're taking care of Peter."

"I'm sure Clint already told everyone that we're taking care of Peter after you accidentally told him over the phone." Stephen said.

"You heard that?" Tony asked.

"Nothing gets past me." Stephen said.

"Uh, yeah...maybe I'll take him with me." Stephen said, holding Peter, looking at the Tony's car.

"Nonsense." Tony said. "It's got a baby seat and everything." He opened the door to his Ferrari, revealing a baby seat.

"Are you sure it's the right one?" Stephen asked. "What if he falls asleep and his neck is uncomfortable, then he gets a cramp?" Stephen examined the baby seat. "And what if the belts are too tight?"

"Stephen relax." Tony said. "I modified it especially for him. I took measurements." Tony said.

"When?" Stephen asked.

"This morning." Tony said.

"So you made it this morning?"

"Yup."

"Have you tested it?" Stephen asked.

"Nope." Tony said. "But it'll be fine. Don't worry about it."

"Tony, what if it blows up? It could be a ticking time bomb for all we know." Stephen said.

"Calm down, Stephen." Tony said. "Nothing's gonna happen to him."

"You sit in it. Test it." Stephen said.

"You think I'm gonna fit in that?" Tony asked.

"Oh, don't worry. You'll grow into it." Stephen said.

Tony squinted at him. "Give me the baby." He reached for Peter.

"No!" Stephen turned away from Tony with Peter in his arms.
