"Hey mommy's baby" I smiled taking Josiah out of Tray arms.

"Mama" he whispered in his sweet voice with a smile.

I stepped out the doorway as Tray came in inside the house closing the door behind himself.

"Unt unt what you think you doing?"

"We need to talk" he says as I put Josiah down.

"Okay.. Josiah go play while me and daddy talk" I say squatting down to his level.

"Alright" he says before running off to his playroom.

I got up before walking over to the kitchen and sat on the counter.

"So what did you want to talk about?"

"It's about Josiah"

"Okay? Continue"

"Is he mine?" Tray says making me look at him with my face scrunched up.

"Yes what kinda question is that"

"Well my-"

Tray was interrupted by Josiah coming out his room.

"Mommy I have to tell you something" Josiah attempts to say it sounded like gibberish, but I understood.

"Baby not right now" I said frustrated

"No pwease listen" he jumps up and down
(I know what I meant I was trying to do baby talk)

"Okay jo jo tell me"

"GG said that I'm not daddy's"

I looked Tray up and down before turning my attention back to Josiah.

"Fuck" Tray mumbled

"Okay thanks for telling me that go back to your room baby.. okay?"

"Why?"

"Josiah just go" I say

He quickly nodded before going back to his play room.

"What else did your mother say? Huh?"

"It ain't like that me and my moms was talking and Josiah over heard that's all" he scratched his head nervously.

"Talking about what Tray?"

"Look basically my mom thinks Josiah isn't mine"

"She wasn't saying that shit at the baby shower" I say getting off the counter with all attitude.
