"We have a gunshot victim female aged 18. Shot multiple times outside of Wolf Thorn bar. She's lost a lot of blood at the scene and on the way here. Her heartbeat is very weak. We need to get her into the trauma room ASAP!" The EMT relayed to the nursing staff at Riverdale community hospital. Dr. Rodriguez, the trauma surgeon was called on his cellphone and immediately rushed to where he was needed. His team got him cleaned and prepped for surgery. When he walked into the room and was shocked by who he seen.
Jade Noelle "Hurricane" Jones, he worked on her just months ago when she was almost killed in a car accident she suffered when her car was hit by a semi truck that caused her car to flip multiple times and her being ejected from the vehicle as she wasn't in a seatbelt at the time. That accident caused her to be in a month long coma, it was looking bleak for her at the time.
But Dr. Rodriguez knew this girl was a fighter. "Come on Jade, you're going to make it sweetheart." He said out loud as he looked over her body on the gurney assessing her injuries. "Martinez, wipe her down I need to see where this blood is coming from." He instructed one of his assistance. Martinez quickly got a sanitized towel and wiped Jade's body down riddening her of the blood that was now caked on her body.
"I see one gunshot right here on her face looks like it shattered her jaw bone, another gunshot right here on the left side of her ribcage and the exit wound on the right side. Another gunshot in her left arm." He looked over her body quickly calling off a total of six gunshot wounds in the 18 year olds body. All of them still pouring blood out. But he was concerned about the one in her chest right by her heart.
He began working with his staff trying to get the bullets out of the Serpent Queen's body and closing the wounds with stitches. As he got to the wound he was more concerned about the one right next to her heart. One wrong move and that could end her life. He carefully began his usual process keeping a steady hand when all of a sudden her body began convulsing.
"Shit! Get the defibulators on standby!" He yelled, she was still convulsing and now it was like her body was working against her, blood seeping through her fresh stitches something he's never seen before.
"Get those paddles ready, her heartbeat is slipping!"
"Paddles are ready sir!"
