Abuse

I wake up in a hospital.
I look around me and see only whiteness.

I blink multiple time to try and get the light out of my eyes.

"You're awake Mr. Kim." The nurse says next to me with a smile.

I freeze.

That's my-

"Can you tell me what happened, before you fainted?" She says and sits down in a chair, scooting it up right beside my head.

I freeze again.

I start to visibly shake.
I would be in trouble if I ever told.

"Who did it?" She asks.

I shake viciously more in fear.

"Was it your parents??!!" She says in panic.

That question has me flopping on the bed like a fish out of water.

I gasp for air and my heartbeat monitor speeds up.

She calls for a nurse and drops her notepad and pencil on the chair.

I turn my head and read what she wrote.

Parents abuse child.
It said.

That made me completely still.

I could hear a bunch of voices surrounding me as they push me out the room and down hallways.

I hear one familiar voice.

I try to choke out an apology but the words get caught in my throat.

I pass out completely a few minutes later.

Really short chapter, sorry for long breaks, I get tired sometimes.
