Hayes's POV
"Hayes?" I slowly looked up at Colby "Do you need to go upstairs?" He asked. I blinked a few times and nodded my head.
"Y-Yeah.." I quickly got up and ran upstairs to my room and closed the door. Then I went into my bathroom and closed that door. I locked the bathroom door and slid down slowly against the door. I sighed and tucked my knees into my chest.
Then I heard footsteps coming closer and closer and closer. I heard my room door open. I gasped softly and covered my mouth. Then there was a knock on my bathroom door. I squealed a bit until I heard a voice speak through the door and ring in my ear.
"Princess, open the door" Colby's voice sent shivers down my spine and goosebumps formed all over my arms and legs. I slowly got up and looked at the door.
"N-No.." I said.
"Why not? Open the door" Colby kept insisting.
"I-I'll be down in a minute. You-... You go a-and hang w-with Brennen. I'll be out in a minute" I said. It was silent for a few seconds but then I heard Colby chuckle softly.
"Okayyyy. You do what you need to do" he said. I could feel his smirk on the other side of this door.
"I'm n-not gonna do anything"
"Mhm. Whatever you say. I'll be downstairs if you... need me" Colby said. I heard footsteps getting farther and farther away. Then silence filled the area. I sighed softly in relief.
He left....
