You had another bad day at work; it seemed like everything was going wrong, but right for everyone else. As you drove home, you called Lucifer to vent about the day you had. He suggested coming to the penthouse to have a drink and cheer you up.
In the elevator to the penthouse, you could literally feel the anger radiating off you in the confined space. The air felt thick, getting thicker when your phone chirped, informing you you received another email from your boss. Snatching out your phone, you angrily typed out a response just as the elevator reached the penthouse. After the mechanical whirr of the doors sounded, you walked out without looking up for your phone.
"Lucifer, are you here?"You shouted, still typing furiously on your phone.
"Hello, Y/N." You looked up to see Lucifer standing by his piano, dropping your phone.

"I thought it might cheer you up." He smirked, tilting his head to the side. "Are you complaining?"
