Chapter 17

"Blaine?" Kurt said as he answered the door. Blaine was still crying, even more when he answered the door.

"What's wrong? Come up to my room and we can talk." Kurt said as he took Blaine's hand and led him to his room. Kurt shut the door and sat next to Blaine on the bed.

"Kurt... I-I... I fucked up." Blaine said with a sob. He put his hand on his face trying to cover his tears. Kurt put a reassuring hand on Blaine's back.

"What happened?" Kurt asked softly. Blaine wiped the tears from his eyes.

"My mom and dad came home and my dad was super drunk. And before my dad left a month ago or whatever, he told me that... that... that I needed to get a girlfriend. So he came back he asked me if I did, and I said I did get a girlfriend but he knew I was lying. Then he... he accused me of being... gay and liking you. So obviously I said I didn't and my mom came in and asked what was going on and my dad said that I'm turning gay again. So I asked what he meant by 'again' and he said that he found my diary from when I was ten that I had wrote about his boy that I wanted to hold hands with or something in and then he started shouting at me, but then he called you a fag so I got really pissed. Then he ended up slapping me and punching me until I could get away and run to my room." Blaine said, crying intensely. Kurt moved closer and pulled Blaine into a hug, letting Blaine sob into Kurt's shirt. They sat there as Blaine cried and Kurt rubbed his back while saying soothing words. After a while blaine wiped the tears from his face, stood up, and walked over to Kurt's CD player.

"What are you doing?" Kurt asked. Blaine looked through Kurt's music selection, then picked one out and put it into the CD player.

"I'm in a shit mood and one thing that can make me better is to sing with you. Now get up." Blaine said as he walked over to Kurt and pulled him up. The song 'Got To Get You Into My Life' by The Beatles started to play.

Kurt: I was alone, I took a ride

Kurt was amazing in Blaine's eyes. He was perfect. Then it hit Blaine, a huge realisation, like a light bulb had been switched on in his brain. He could see everything so clearly now.

The whole time Blaine sung through the song, his eyes never left Kurt's.

Kurt and Blaine: Got to get you into my life

At the end of the song, Kurt and Blaine were inches apart. Every time they were this close, one of them would back off and they'd pretend like everything was normal and that nothing had happened. But before Kurt could step back, Blaine grabbed both of Kurt cheeks. Blaine looked into Kurt's gorgeous eyes, Kurt was breathtaking. Then, Blaine slowly leaned in and softly pressed his lips onto Kurt's. Kurt was shocked, the Blaine Anderson was kissing him. Kurt immediately kissed back. They pulled apart a few seconds later and looked into each other's eyes. Blaine smiled.
