There's a reason I don't like Patty Waters. In fact, there are probably fifty if I decided to really think about it. And that's not including any related to jealousy over the fact that he's dating Lavender and I'm not.
I don't like Patty Waters because he's rude.
I don't like Patty Waters because he secretly smokes out the back of the school, which is dumb because everyone knows how bad that is for your lungs.
I don't like Patty Waters because he doesn't know how to respect girls.
I don't like his arrogance, or that he swears like a sailor.
I don't like Patty Waters because he's cheated on eight girlfriends, that is if the rumours are true.
I don't like him because.
I'm not trying to be childish or act like I'm superior, but frankly, I don't think I'll ever like him.
But most of all, I don't like Patty Waters because I know he'll break Lavender's heart.
And I don't want Lavender getting hurt.
Purely, out of friendship reasons, of course. It's because I care about her, not because I'm in love with her or anything.
I'm not going to stop her or be weirdly protective, but I just pray that this time he has good intentions.
For her sake.
