I packed up the rest of my bag and slung it over my shoulder. I moved a hand through my brown hair and sighed, wondering if Lilly will be all right with moving and such. A frown appeared on my face, and I didn't know why Anne would have her come with us. She needed to be protected from just about anything. That meant that she shouldn't be coming to wherever we were going. It wasn't safe for her.

"Come in," I said, hearing a knock on my door. I looked up from the floor, to see that it was Anne who had knocked on the door. Speak of the Devil, I thought, while she closed the door behind her and leaned against it.

Anne frowned, glancing around the room before she looked at me. She blinked once, keeping eye contact. "I want you to watch out for Lilly," she said, in a tone that meant don't mess with her. "She is to be at your side no matter what happens."

I shook my head, frowning. It was too dangerous for her. "She shouldn't be going."

"She is going, however. I had talked to her about it. She wants to come, and that is why I'm entrusting you to watch over her."

I rolled my eyes, annoyed. I didn't like that she was coming with us. She could be hurt, or worse, killed. I didn't know what I would do if she was turned into a Shell or not. I couldn't help but frown, hating the fact that I was even thinking about her being turned into a Shell.

Anne frowned, knowing what I was thinking about. "She won't be turned into a Shell, if I have anything to say about it," she said. She sighed and looked down, moving a hand through her black hair. She looked up, watching me with her gray eyes. "You should know that by now."

She was right, I did know that she wouldn't let us turn into a Shell. "But, she shouldn't be going," I said. I couldn't help but grimace. If anything bad happened to her, then it would be my fault. I knew that she had a hard past, but I didn't know how bad it was. "None of us should be going."

"Yet, we are going on this journey. Lilly will be safe from harm. She will be by one of us, and we will protect her. 'Sides, she can use water to her advantage." There was a smirk on her face. "We will have plenty of water for her to work with."

"It's a death mission."

"If it's a death mission, then a death mission it will be. However, not one of you will die."

"What will happen to us, if you die or become turned into a Shell?" I raised an eyebrow, looking at her. "You know how Damion is."

"Yet, you both still listen to him, sometimes," she replied. "The Pub will still be open. One call from me, or if someone figures out that I'm not there anymore, then all the stuff will go under Damion's name."

I frowned, my eyebrows creasing in confusion. Who was this mysterious person that she was talking about? Was the person good? Or was the person bad? Could they know what was going on with her? "Who are you talking about?"

Anne smirked, and I knew that she wasn't going to tell me. "That thing is going down with me to the grave," she replied. She stretched and sighed. "Get finished getting ready. I have to make sure that Gabriel has stuff to wear." She nodded her head in goodbye before she left, not letting me get a word in.

I shook my head and sighed. "Sometimes, Anne's too strange," I mumbled under my breath, looking around my room to see if I didn't miss anything. "She's too secretive, also."

I walked down the stairs and into the bar. I looked around to see that it was empty except for Damion, Lilly, and Gabriel, who was wearing normal people clothing. I frowned, not seeing anyone in the bar area. "Where is everyone?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "And, where is Anne?"

"Anne went to get something, and she had closed the place down for renovations," Gabriel replied, fixing his collar of the shirt that he was wearing. There was a grimace on his face, and he looked so uncomfortable in his clothing, making me smirk.

I raised an eyebrow and frowned. "Why?"

"She busted the pipes in the bathrooms and in the drink machine," Lilly said. "After everyone cleared out, she had me bend the water to make sure that the water wouldn't destroy this place. And, I don't know where she went. She said that she had to do something first." Lilly looked at me and there was a small blush on her face.

An image of me kissing her appeared in my mind, and I couldn't help but smile a little. Sure, Lilly was so quiet and soft, but she was perfect in my eyes. I couldn't help but love her and have the urge to protect her. "So, Anne's doing something that we don't know about?"

"It's not unusual," someone said behind me. "Now, isn't it?"

I turned around to see that Anne was there, holding a bag filled with stuff. I couldn't help but frown, confused. "What's in the bag?" I asked, looking at her.

Anne smirked, and I knew that she wouldn't be saying anything. "Stuff for later. Now, is everyone ready?"

I nodded my head and knew that the others did as well. "Yes, I guess we are."

"Then, Panama, here we come." With that, she walked out of the Pub and into the darkness of the night. There was a 'vroom', and I knew that we would be taking a car down there.

"Well, I guess we're going," I said, looking at the others. With that, we walked out staying silent. I just hoped that we would be able to come back to this place. However, I wasn't sure if all of us would.
