vii. photography

today was the day that jungkook got discharged from the hospital. it wasn't really planned to be today, in fact he planned it to be a lot later.

the reason for that was because he enjoyed it. enjoyed being babied and cared by the one and only taehyung.

through the days of being in the hospital, he can say that it was one of his happiest days. as he took one last glance of the hospital room, he couldn't help but get emotional.

it contained all of their first memories together. okay, so maybe jungkook was a bit too dramatic but come on now, it was his first time to live a normal life even though it was by getting confined in a hospital.

"jungkook, stop being so dramatic and let's go!" a familiar voice snapped him from all of his way too dramatic thoughts.

that voice just happened to be taehyung's who stood in the hallway with a bag and an irritated expression while waiting for jungkook.

"yes, yes i'm coming." jungkook said and started to walk away from the room that he cherished so much. okay so now, yeah jungkook was way too dramatic.

the two males got out of the establishment and both went to jungkook's car.

perhaps, the moment when jungkook opened the door for taehyung was still lingering in the gray-haired boy's mind.

it was just way too sweet and romantic for taehyung's liking. but he won't complain though, we all know that he liked it.

the two sat silently inside the car as jungkook drove and the other watched the trees and buildings that they passed by. it was not until jungkook broke the silence.

"taehyung." he called out, he took a glance at the beauty beside him and then looked back at the road.

"yeah?" the older of the two answered, without even sparing the ravennate a glance. it wasn't really awkward between the two, in fact they had gotten a bit more close now.

but let's not forget about the fact that taehyung was still distant and inside his own walls.

"do you wanna go out for lunch?" jungkook kindly offered the older. a nod and hum was what he got as a reply. the gray-haired male just closed his eyes and leaned back on his seat.

after the boring ride, they had reached the welcoming warmth of an infamous restaurant called 'spring day'. it just so happened to be taehyung's favorite restaurant.

as they stepped inside, the well known theme song of the restaurant rang in their ears.

just by hearing this, jungkook saw the smile that crept into taehyung's face.

the two took a seat on a table near the window that actually had a great view outside. so with that, taehyung got his camera out and snapped a picture of the scenery.

jungkook just watched fondly as he saw sparkles spread across taehyung's pretty eyes. the said boy stared at the picture in awe and thought for anymore things to take a picture of.

as jungkook looked at the menu, the boy in front of him took pictures of the restaurant.

then, his eyes beamed when he thought of a great idea once his gaze landed on a sexy looking jungkook focused on the menu.

taehyung smiled ever so lightly, he positioned his camera in front of jungkook before calling out.

"jungkook." the aforementioned boy looked up and just in time, the camera snapped a picture of him.

"yah, what was that for?" the ravennate asked, confusion evident in his tone. the older of the two quickly looked at the picture before answering.

"i was bored." yeah, he was totally just bored. nothing more, he swore.

"okay?" the other answered in doubt. he shrugged his shoulders to push the thought away.

"anyway, what do you want?" jungkook asked the gray-haired who was still focused on scrolling through his gallery while smiling.

the younger made a mental note that taehyung really like photography and that he has a passion for it. jungkook couldn't help but smile and coo at the sight.

the sight of taehyung being all happy and giddy. it was a rare sight for him so might as well treasure it, right? the older mumbled something that jungkook wasn't able to hear.

"i'm sorry, what?" the ravennate questioned leaning forward as the older finally looked up with a foolish grin and shook his head 'nothing'.

"i said i'll order the same as yours." taehyung answered which made jungkook nod. he called for a waiter and ordered.

but jungkook was still in suspicion though, he could've sworn he heard taehyung say something different. well, it wasn't really necessary to know, perhaps it was curiosity that took over him.

in the end, he just pushed the thought away and ate with taehyung who was eating the food in pure happiness.

it has been a while since taehyung ate here and he had missed it so much. this was where he actually first met bogum.

but to both of their dismay, bogum was fired and had no choice but to find another job.

"hey taehyung, wanna have ice cream after this?" jungkook asked which stopped the thoughts that flowed in the others mind. taehyung perked up in glee and nodded his head eagerly.

"alright then, finish up." the younger replied with a chuckle before wiping his lips with the given tissue.

they had finished eating when taehyung led the way outside, he skipped in happiness.

well, as you might have noticed, taehyung only comes out of his cold shell when there are things he liked that are being mentioned.

and at this moment, it was ice cream and photography. the two decided to walk, and they did, side by side.
