"Of course love." She couldn't help but smile up at him. It had been hours since he left her in the secret room and she couldn't help but feel hungry. She hadn't had dinner too.

"Let's go?" She coaxed and held his hands, only then did she feel the leather material. She looked down, her small hands gripping his large ones. "You're wearing gloves again?" She hadn't seen him wear gloves when he's with her. She saw him wore it a couple of times but when he's with her he seemed to ditch it away. She heard him sigh and she stared up at him.

"I did something bad again love. I didn't want to hold you with those hands." His murderous expression morphed into a sad one and something tugged at her heart.

Before she could stop herself, she held the material, wanting to slowly and carefully take off the gloves away from his hands. He just sat there and let her but she couldn't see his expression, too busy taking off his leather gloves. Midway through taking it off, she saw a cut on his palm, the wound looked fresh. She suppressed her urge to wince, it looked like it hurt and she didn't want him getting hurt. She continued her task and she could feel Aidoneus' eyes watching her. When she finally took it off, she held his hands in hers, her mouth lifting up into a soft smile as she looked at him. "I like holding your hands." She whispered it was almost inaudible but the room was so quiet she was sure he heard it. Aidoneus' look was indecipherable until a soft smile grazed his handsome face. He lift her hands up and kissed each knuckle and she was sure her heart had stopped beating at the small display of affection.

"I like holding your hands too my love."

They sat there just looking at each other. She didn't ask about what happened that night, didn't ask about the cut in his palm, she didn't ask about the bad things that he said he did and she didn't ask how grave it was that he had to wear his gloves again. And that's because she knew Aidoneus would tell her everything if he's ready but most importantly he would tell her if she's ready. And in that moment she was not, she wanted to eat first. With that thought, her stomach let out a loud rumble. It was so loud she couldn't help but be embarrassed. She cringed by the sound and let her head rest on Aidoneus' shoulders as she hid her flaming face from him.

Then she felt him shaking and when she looked at him the man was laughing silently to himself. When he saw Aiyana's glare, he let out a loud laugh. Her playful glare continued to sear through his head as he kept on laughing. But even his laugh was so graceful. And the fact that he was laughing made Aiyana happy. She knew he never laughed. Sure she heard him laugh once, maybe twice but he's a no-nonsense and serious man. Seeing him laugh is so rare... and precious. But she made him laugh. She did that. And she wanted to do it again, wanted to hear him laugh again. She didn't care if she had to make embarrassing sounds from her stomach, Aidoneus' laugh was music and she wanted to hear that sound again and again.

He finally stopped laughing and kissed her forehead repeatedly. "God you're adorable."

"It's Aiyana. Not God." She corrected which in turn earned a chuckle from him.

He stooped down and pecked her lips multiple times. "My Aiyana is adorable."

She was sure she was blushing like a little school girl. She turned her head down and bit her lip, just realizing their position. Every inch of her is pressed against his hard form. It didn't help that he was in his sweats and a simple shirt and she in her flimsy nightgown. Does this man even look bad in any clothing? But he probably looks best without anything on him. She coughed. Not knowing why her mind went into that way. She cleared her throat.
