I'm not trying anything too crazy this time. I just wanted another light hearted romantic comedy again cause I miss writing humour :)
So yup.
Here's the synopsis:
"Parties are not my thing!" I yell to my 70-year-old grandmother, who at the moment is chasing me around the house with a tiara from Dollarama, trying to crown me.
Finally, I stop, and the short woman ambushes me on the couch, pressing the toy crown harshly ontop of my head so that my scalp feels as though it has been penetrated.

Carmen Estrella is NOT a party animal. No, no, no. First of all, she does not know how to go out. Her idea of fun is being nestled in bed against a body pillow and watching Netflix. Loud Music? She'll tell you that her ears are bleeding. Dresses? Oh honey, talk to her wardrobe of Costco based grey sweatpants. People? They give her anxiety.

So when Carmen's family insists on her having a Debut party for her 18th birthday, she doesn't hesitate before disagreeing.
