Chapter 28: Bruh

I keep running, leaving my family and friends behind. I slap the branches out of my face, instead of them slapping me across the face. I heard footsteps getting closer and screaming too. "Ross! What are you doing?" Riker screamed, getting close to me. He started breathing heavily, while i took some steps back. "I lost both of them. Laura and Vanessa. I mean, i don't even like Vanessa, but she makes Laura happy, so no choice for me..." I said running a hand through my hair. Riker stayed silent. No one spoke. The only sound that was roaring through the rain forest was the birds singing, the wind, the leaves moving, and the wild animals. We both looked down, but suddenly, we both heard a common scream. Riker and i both look back up and widened our eyes. We go racing through the rain forest like the speed of light, trying to find our way to the scream.

We slow down a bit when we thought we were close to the scream. I look at my left, to see Riker looking at me with fear. He nods, as if saying that i can move on. I slowly make a step foward. But as soon as i did, i hard a 'Crack' noise. And i, just stepped in a tree branch, making a loud noise. Riker started hitting my arm slightly, trying to get my attention. "What?" I whispered. He gasps and widens his eyes. "Huh?" I mumbled. "WOAHHH!" I made a loud shriek. I fall down to the ground with Riker. I felt weight on my back, like a really heavy weight. I assumed it was a person, because they giggled. Is a girl sitting on my back?.... I look at Riker, which is right next to me, and he looks at me and the girl like 'Bruh. Why will ya do dat?'. "Hellooooo!" She said, getting off of me. I was about to get up when she put her foot on my back. Now, im stuck in the ground. However, Riker stood up. So lucky -_-

"Okay, first, GET OFF ME! Second, hello" I said, trying to sound as nice as possible. She giggled and removed her foot out of my back. I sat up and look at the girl.... "Well, long time no see, Blondie" She said smiling. "You too, Dark Chocolate Swirl" I replied. Riker looked at us, "Bruh"
