A/n: happy Wednesday my lovely's , I know your going to want a double edit so I'll post that too but I have a huge test today and tomorrow so I'm nervous but wish me luck and I hope you enjoy the story! :)🥰

I wake up with a few notifications on my phone. As I rub my eyes to awake myself more from my deep slumber, I unlock my phone to respond.

Alex: hey there! Good morning, do you want to meet me for breakfast in the lobby?

I feel my stomach turn in guilt. Alex doesn't deserve me. I should just clear things up on what happened yesterday.

Me: morning, uh yeah I'll be down in a bit

Alex: sounds great , I'll see you then ;)

Me: 👍🏼

I mentally face palm myself, Alex really is into me and when I'm with him it's nice...but I just don't feel the same wave of intoxication he feels. I notice I'm frowning when I suddenly smile as I read Arianas texts.

Superstar🥰❣️: good morning cutie, about last night I'm really sorry I don't know what got into me I guess I was just really tired

Superstar🥰❣️: anyway, I'm excited for tonight ! I haven't had a movie night with a friend in a while :)

'Friend'. Oof that one hurt. Why? To be honest I'm not even sure myself, that's all ariana and I are...friends.

Me: good morning superstar, don't worry about last night I completely understand and I'm very excited too😁

Superstar🥰❣️: what time should I be there? And should I bring popcorn and snacks!?

Me: 😂your adorable

I bite my lip as I send that last message. Is it too much?

Superstar🥰❣️: oh , thank you...I think you are adorable too, cutie 🙈

My heart beat quickens.

Me: ;) how about you come to my room at 6 and we can go downstairs to grab snacks at the gift shop in the hotel together?

Superstar🥰❣️: sounds perfect , I have to be in the studio now so I'll text you later :)

Me: ok, later superstar :)

My heart flutters, I never knew the effect she actually had on me.

I ignore the group chats messages and change into something relaxing before heading downstairs.

I find Alex sitting alone at a table for two,drinking a cup of coffee by a window.

He notices my presence as I walk closer, he grins widely "hello" he greets standing up and hugging me.

His big arms embrace me and although I feel warm externally, being engulfed in his arms makes me feel cold internally.

I hug back and when we pull away he kisses me on my cheek, his short beard tickling me. I fake a smile and walk towards the breakfast area, my nostrils inhaling the savory smell of food.

He walks behind me "I had a great time last night" he says, grabbing a plate from the buffet for the both of us.

My hands grow clammy as I take the plate from his hands. "Uhm yeah me too" I respond. I pass by the different entrees and grab some eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes.

I grab some apple juice and sit down at the table Alex had saved for us. "So, any plans for today? Maybe we can go to a diner for lunch too!" Alex asks with enthusiasm.
