It was almost summer break, awakening the childish excitement. Everyone felt it, even the professors. The flower blooming in their hearts, the excitement buzzing in their ears. Everyone was excited, readying their plans.

But not Y/n.

No, she was dreading the fact that summer was approaching. Biting her nails, and tugging at her hair. Her chest felt like it was closing in, her breathes were short and shallow at night. Tears would spring to her eyes in the middle of class, earning a questioning glance from her professors and classmates.

But she told no one about why she felt this way. Only Harry knew, by the accident with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. He comforted her at nights when she couldn't sleep because of her anxiety. Or wiped her tears from her cheeks. It seemed like Harry was best for her.

And it wasn't just because of the truth about her dad. No, Y/n was still distressed from losing someone so close to her.

Oliver.

And it broke her heart into more pieces when she saw Jessica hanging out with him.

Y/n walked through the halls, casually wiping a few tears from her eyes. She was used to this by now. The constant cramping in her chest, and the random tears that fell from her eyes. She couldn't help but feel the anxiety creeping in. The constant fear.

As she carried her feet slowly, giggling seemed to fill the air. Surrounding her like mocking laughs. Her footsteps came to a stop, and a frown was set upon her lips. There stood Jessica's shiny locks waving, her hands gripping a brown haired boy. Her lips were connected to his, and a blush was upon her porcelain skin.

The boy's face was hidden, but his brown hair and slim figure already seemed to want to make Y/n cry. She knew it was Oliver. Instead of being a creep and standing there, Y/n kept on walking. She tried to ignore that pain in her chest, and the prickling water in her eyes. She prayed in her mind that Oliver didn't notice that she was there.

But it seemed like the world was against little Y/n.

" Wait."

A warm hand grabbed her's, making Y/n look back.

Oliver's face had a small blush on his sun kissed skin, and his brown hair was a tangled mess. His hands were a little sweaty, and red lipstick was on his thin lips.

Y/n couldn't help but scoff, shoving her hand out of Oliver's. It seemed to take Oliver back, watching his eyebrows scrunch in confusion and shock.

" Would you stop. You already moved on, so why can't you let me move on? I want to move on, I don't need you. Stop trying to turn things around. You were happy kissing her." Y/n bends slightly, nodding towards Jessica.

Jessica just winked slightly, looking at her fingers.

" So go back to what you were doing."

Y/n sarcastically smiles, walking away.

" Wait-" Oliver wanted to stop her.

But she was already around the corner, out of sight.

1st Point Of View.

I sigh, rubbing my eyes from the water drops collecting on my long eyelashes. Exhaustion was sagging on my shoulders from the studying from the night before. I seem to be a night owl, staying up till midnight. Pages and pages of homework were due today, being the last week of school.
