A few days later, 5 miles outside Kanzlerhaven

0900 hours

It was another bright sunny morning at Kanzlerhaven. The cold sea breeze blew over the large hilly plain where a battle was to be expected. Thousands of soldiers from the coalition forces stood defiantly against the incoming enemy forces ranging from the iron age to the gunpowder era. The twenty kaiserliche wyvern lords soar through the sky in formations as the orchestra of drums, flutes, and fifes echoed across the plains playing in a musical battle before the actual battle that will shape the fate of Weissenheer.

The battle-ready but exhausted rebel army stood in an organized manner but it was not out of normalcy but out of fear as the forced march from Augustus has dwindled their fighting spirit and morale to a low but after nearing Kanzlerhaven, they were given a long-desired rest after that march. They were able to savor that short time until they were given a rude awakening as the coalition took it to themselves to do battle now as they rested. Breaking the gentleman's code but as much as they liked to complain, they still knew they usurped the crown.

Air to air combat was little to none as the number and quality of the wyverns in each side was equal and little blows given as both were in the defensive, making the battle in the skies irrelevant to turn the tides of battle.

Silence engulfed the plain as no clear winner was decided in the air battle. It was the rebel forces who made the first move.

"I've got movement at the center of the formation... about 100 men on horseback. It's a cavalry charge." SOP said as she sat on top of a mobile command center at a certain distance from the battlefield.

Despite having a childish personality, she was designed, bred, and genetically engineered to become the perfect soldier by using the genes of the "Greatest Warriors of the 20th Century". Her personality was left unattended because of the belief that she also has to experience life just like anybody.

Standing beside SOP on top of the MCC, Tanya was observing the battle as well through lent binoculars.

"A cavalry charge to start out a battle is nothing that Kuro could handle."
