Rothenburg, Weissenheer

0923 hours

Located at the North of Weissenheer, a small and peaceful town stands as an intersection well-connected to other cities to the south. From the duration of the civil war, it has gained a reputation where the town managed to survive the carnage, creating a refugee crisis that the Entente cannot afford to send enough units to assist after the chemical attack. Inns and houses were packed with many people trying to escape the conflict that it would only be one of the few towns, cities, and villages that are indirectly affected by the war. Public order became a concern as the influx of people arriving in the town increased day by day and it was one great way to remain hidden.

For the past two days, D'Elise traversed the Weissenheer landscape. Not staying in one spot for a few hours just to feed the child and leave immediately. Entering the town, she asked for directions from one of the local shops and proceeded directly towards the town's coachman services where she will have to ultimately sell her longtime companion and mount in order to gain more gold, silver, and copper and a ride towards Kanzlerhaven which was said to be the safest and secure city since the civil war and seek asylum.

Letting the people mask her such that she became one with the crowd, she walked down the cobblestone path in the colorful medieval village, wearing a white cloak to cover her face and armor along with the child she's carrying. The cheerful attitude the young one made towards her made her heart fill with warmth a sense of purpose as she continued on.

Nearing the coachmen services building, a commotion was heard in an alleyway nearby that people decided to avoid. Curious, she took a quick peek at the alleyway and saw three buff men surrounding a girl with brown hair tied into a ponytail with a big white bow who had a face void of any expression holding a stack of never before seen strangely white parchment.

"~Why don't you follow us, missy? It's not safe for a girl like you to be out here when public order is down the pit.~"

(A/N: writing this is too cringy, I had to make the dialogue this shitty. Nice rhyme though.)

'Finding possible recruits from the natives is harder than I thought...' I thought to myself in front of three cliche beings.

Everything from their stature, clothing, and demeanor was just expected in almost all shitty isekai manga saved in my database and now... I'm half expecting some white knight to come and save me because of my carelessness even though I've already set my sights on you... I mean, Y-Y/N! Yes, Y/N.

Ever since Y/N pulled an Angela Bassett's "Six" after the chemical attack, I immediately hopped in my XO-2 Strike Wyvern towards Weissenheer as my first place to find potential recruits since there will be no shortage of volunteers, no shortage of patriots, and people with skills and motivation after the chemical attack. Thanks to Avrora, I was able to form a full strike team as guards for my work entrusted to Y/N.
