Today was the day that Payton was finally releasing his song Love letter.
He'd been putting so much time and effort into this song, even when there were challenges he stormed through them like it was nothing.

The only problem for me was I had to congratulate him through FaceTime.
Yup
Fuck you Coronavirus!

Joanne: one minute!
Faith: ahh I can't wait!

Parker: thirty seconds
...

I was ignoring all the chaos in the back and watching my boyfriend getting ready to play it through the speakers as he projected our call onto the TV so he could record my reaction.

I'd heard some of it but I always told him to make sure it was a surprise for the rest of it.

We all burst into cheers as Joanne and Faith exploded the confetti cannons and Payton played the song

By the end of the song I was in tears.
Payton: Aww baby don't cry
He said as he came closer to the screen staring at me as more tears fell down my cheeks.
Y/n: I'm just so proud of you and I miss you and I want to give you a hug and I want to love you and show you how proud I am and-
That's when he paused me
Payton: Y/n I know how proud you are, and I know you love me. I love you too baby girl
Everyone cooed in the background as me and Payton were being all googly-eyed to each other

Soon enough it was time to say bye to Payton and head downstairs.

That's when I saw

Mom: YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME AND NO ONE ELSE! YEAH
Dad: SO HERES A LOVE LETTER TO MYSELF!
Grandma: boonoonoono. Bananonono
*playing air guitar*
Grandpa: so when is he going to be my grandson in law Y/M/N?
Mom: soon! I can promise you that
Grandma: he's a rockstar!
She shouted as she bounced around the house like she was high or something.

I didn't even want to know so I went back into my room texting Payton goodnight and going to sleep.
