So basically today is Faith's birthday... it's been maybe 3 months since the breakup and yeah of course I'm going to see Faith, I mean she's like a sister to me.

I got ready into some leggings and a hoodie and started walking over there to Faith's house which also happens to be Payton's house, oh who would have guessed?
Not me.

I was about half way there when it started raining, I decided to run the rest of the way, I didn't want to get too wet but it was either getting wet or getting cold, not to mention it would ruin Faiths presents.

When I got there everyone was inside, Faith's stuff was already packed in her car trunk since she was moving out, that meant I would be walking around in this all day.

Great, lucky me (!)

I knocked on the door and I was greeted by none other then Joanne herself.
Joanne: oh dear the rain definitely got to you
She laughed and let me in
Joanne: go upstairs into Payton's room, I'm sure there's something in there for you to borrow
She told me with a smile, I repaid her a smile and handed her the presents for Faith before waking up the stairs to Payton's room.

I could hear a faint sound of his guitar, I was scared to walk in, I mean we'd broken up months ago, how was I supposed to act?

I knocked quietly on the door and I heard him say for me to come in, he must have thought it was his mom.

I gently pushed the door handle down and walked in.
Y/n: er hey... I um- can I borrow some clothes, I kinda got caught up in the rain
I laughed

His room was a mess, he had clothes everywhere, drinks scattered around the room, his hair was even a mess, he looked as if he hadn't slept for days- not even... months.

Payton: er- yeah sure
He said as he moved around a little, putting his guitar down as he got up to get me some clothes, I walked into the room, closing the door behind me.
Payton: it's nothing too good, not really party-wear but it'll do I guess
He said as he handed me a pair of grey sweatpants and a hoodie, his favourite hoodie.
His hand brushed over mine as I took the clothes from him.
Y/n: thanks
I smiled slightly as I left the room, that was the embarrassing part done, now I'd just have to go to the bathroom and get changed-
Of course there's someone in the bathroom when I need it.

I turned around and knocked back on Payton's door.
Y/n: err so there's someone in the bathroom and I kinda need to get changed.
I explained to him as I walked in again closing the door behind me.
Payton: um- oh okay sure I'll just turn around.
He turned around.
In a way I didn't want him turning around, but I just didn't know why.
Y/n: are you not gonna come down for the party?
I asked as I pulled of my wet hoodie
Payton: no, there's no point none of my friends are there
I could hear the sadness in his voice as he answered my question, he seemed so... lost.

I finished getting changed and Payton turned around.
I almost didn't want to leave, I wanted to stay in his room. I wanted him.

Payton: you gonna go back down?
He questioned
Y/n: oh right- um yeah
I stuttered.
I turned around to walk out, completely forgetting there was a door placed where I was trying to walk and well-
Payton: oh shit are you okay?
He asked worriedly and ran over to me
Y/n: ouch my nose
I whined.

Payton took me over to his desk and helped me with my now bleeding nose.
Payton: how did you just forget that there was a door behind you?
He laughed as he wiped my nose down
Y/n: because- I was pre-occupied
I laughed
Payton: mhm oh let me guess you were too busy taking in all this
He joked as he pointed to himself
Y/n: oh yeah? Well you were too busy taking in all this
I giggled as I pointed to myself
Payton: actually yes I was
He replied
Y/n: dork
I laughed as I got up and booped his nose
Payton: hey I'm not a whales penis!
He laughed as he got up after me
Y/n: hm I don't know about that
I laughed as I started running, Payton chasing after me.
Payton: to be fair whales have very big penises
He said as he grabbed hold of me and pushed me against the wall
Y/n: oh so definitely not you then?
I joked
Payton: excuse me my penis is very big thank you very much
He replied
Y/n: sure Payton whatever you say
I laughed, my laugh quickly died down when he looked at me very seriously
Payton: I say that I want you
He said quietly.
Y/n: Payton, no.
I sighed as I moved from where he had me placed.
Payton: so that was nothing?
He asked as I opened the door
Y/n: Payton that was me being friendly
I said as I walked out of the door
Payton: well I'm sick of being "friendly" with you
He huffed as he followed me out of the room.
Y/n: that's what we have to be Payton... friends
I gave Faith a quick hug before leaving, Payton walking out after me
Payton: what is it now? Am I wrong for loving you?
He asked, both of us getting wet from the rain
Y/n: yes!
I replied back to him, walking down the road.
Payton: you know I quitted right? I stopped all of that, that's why it's been so hard on me, I did it for you.
He said, walking after me
Y/n: wait... seriously?
I asked, stopping and turning around.
Payton: yes! I stopped because I didn't want to loose you, I want you back Y/n
He admitted, the rain soaking through the both of us, getting us drenched.
I bit my lower lip a smile growing on my face.
I ran over to Payton and pulled him in for a kiss
Y/n: I'm so proud of you baby
I said into the kiss.
He smiled as he pulled me back into another one
Payton: fuck I've missed you
He told me

I punched him in the stomach only lightly before I started running
Y/n: last one back has to explain to Tiktokroom what all your depressing tweets were about!
I laughed as he began running, I forgot how fast he was, he grabbed my waist and pulled me into a kiss
Payton: looks like that'll be you mi amor
He laughed and I huffed
Y/n: mi amor? Jeez he's learned a lot since we broke up
I said to myself before running after him.

I got ma baby backkk
