Y/n: Tay I can't feel my legs!
I shouted to my boyfriend as I gripped his hand, I was sat at home on the bathroom floor, sat in my puddle of fluids as Tayler tried to pick the lock
Tayler: baby it's gonna be okay!
He shouted back through the door
Y/n: TayleRRRR!
I screamed as another contraction waved over me.
Y/n: Tayler hurry up!
Tayler: I can't Y/n, I can't get through this stupid lock!
He shouted back frustrated
Y/n: kick the fucking door down before I have this baby on this floOOOR!
I threw my head back and let out yet another loud scream as I felt another contraction
Tayler: why did you lock the door in the first place?!
Y/n: because I wanted some privacy as I took a bath in peace! Tay I'm being serious if you don't-
Tayler: move away from the door!
I could hear the stress in his voice, he was obviously worried about what was happening right now, I guess I shouldn't have locked the door but I have been for the last 2 years so why does he care now?!
All the sudden my thoughts were interrupted by the door swinging open and the lock flying across the room, landing next to me.
Y/n: Tayy
I whined as he ran over to me and sat on the floor beside me, holding my hand as I waved through another contraction, the most painful one of all
Y/n: ring someone then Tayler!
I shouted and he immediately stopped staring and ran back into the other room to get his phone.

He quickly dialled 911 before sitting in front of me, listening to the ladies instructions.
Tayler: yeah, er yes... Tayler, Y/n... um we don't know. now? Okay... okay
He put the phone on speaker before placing it next to me.
...: hello my lovely I'm Joanne the lady on the end of the phone for today, I'm going to talk your boyfriend through what to do as I get in touch with the ambulance crew, is that okay with you deary?
The sweet sounding lady asked me
Y/n: mhm
I coughed slightly
Joanne: okay perfect so Tayler what I want you to do is move Y/n's legs and try and have a little look to see if you can see a head peaking through or even some hair.
She told him. I could hear her typing on the computer as she spoke to Tayler.
Joanne: okay Tayler can you see anything?
She questioned as Tayler cleared his throat explained to her.
Tayler: yeah, I see some jet black hair over here
He laughed lightly
Joanne: oh that's perfect, Y/n what colour is your hair?
She asked me as she tried to distract me from the pain
Y/n: um- y/h/c
I told her
Joanne: awe how nice, okay Tayler dear if you can touch the baby's head with your finger without having to go too deep we are going to have to start pushing
She explained
Tayler gulped before realising that the baby was very close to my entrance
Joanne: how much of your finger does in there?
She asked as the clicking on her keyboard continued.
Tayler: none.
He said quickly and I looked at him with shock
Joanne: okay that's fine, the ambulance crew aren't too far away so I'm going to have to ask you to start pushing Y/n, do 10 seconds at a time my dear don't push yourself
She told me
I looked at Tayler and he nodded
Joanne: okay ready... go
I closed my eyes and pushed as hard as I could, biting my bottom lip before breathing out and stopping pushing, Tayler's hands now placed under the visible head.

I pushed around 5 more times before I felt empty,
Tayler: it's a boy
He smiled, the baby in Tayler's arms as he wrapped it in a blanket.
But not-
Y/n: Tayler why isn't he crying?
I asked as I sat up more, Joanne on the phone about to tell him to do something
Joanne: Tayler can you just tap the baby on his bottom a little
Tayler did as he was instructed but no sound left the baby
Y/n: why isn't he crying!
I cried
Joanne: the ambulance crew should be here now, are they here?
She asked us
Y/n: uh- yeah... Tayler?
The call was cut off as soon as the paramedics entered the house, Tayler holding our fragile baby still not crying.
The paramedics took our little boy and did a few things that I don't quite remember, Tayler holding me as we both cried, scared for the worst outcome possible.
Paramedic: I'm so sorry-
Tayler buried his head in the crook of my neck as he let out a few sobs.
Y/n: no... no no no no no! Please no.
I cried as I looked up at the paramedic
Y/n: can I-
They nodded before passing me the little baby that was wrapped in a blanket, not moving, not crying, not breathing.
I held him close to my chest as Tayler looked down at him
Y/n: hey little fella
I laughed lightly but it was overcome by tears that rushed down my cheeks.
Y/n: I'm so so sorry baby boy, I just want you to know- I want you to know that mommy and daddy loved you so very much.
I cried as I looked at the broken Tayler sat next to me, his hand moved the blanket covering our son
Tayler: I'm sorry that daddy couldn't take you to your first football game. I'm sorry my little peanut. I love you.
Tayler moved over and placed a kiss on our son's head.
He hugged me as I sniffed a few times before rubbing our baby's cheek ever so slightly with my pinky finger.
Y/n: sweet dreams baby boy
I laid a shaken his on his forehead before passing him back to the paramedics and turning round back to Tayler.

Today was the day we were leaving the hospital, after 2 days of the doctors running tests on me, Tayler and I were finally leaving... no baby beside us.

And now we had to tell the world
