Chapter 15

In the bunker, a couple of days after the incident. It's 12:30 pm and Dean knocks on Sarah's door.

Dean: Hey Sarah it's not because you're not eating like us that you get a pass on sitting down at the table.

Silence

Dean: Sarah? What are you doing in there? Are you okay?

Silence

Dean: I'm coming in.

Dean comes in and finds Sarah asleep on her bed. He sighs in relief and sits on the edge of her bed.

Dean: Hey Sare, wake up. It's 12:30.

Sarah slowly opens her eyes and yawns.

Sarah: Sorry I must have fallen back to sleep.

Dean smiles and gently touches her cheekbone with his hand.

Dean: You've got nothing to be sorry for baby. Did you sleep at all last night?

Sarah: Hum yeah, yeah.

Dean: Don't you lie to me Sarah Winchester.

Sarah: I'm not dad, I swear.

Dean lets out a little laugh.

Sarah: Did I just--?

Dean: Yup, you called me dad.

Sarah: Awesome. Let's just walk past that one.

Dean: Anyway. Breakfast's on. Waiting for you downstairs

Sarah: Okay.

Downstairs, everyone's at the table and staring at Sarah while she's preparing her formula. After she connected her feeding bag line to her tube, she sat down and noticed everyone's eyes, looking at her.

Sarah: What?

Dean: Nothing.

Sarah: Okay well eat instead of looking at me then. Sarah says, annoyed.

Sam: Of course, sorry.

Everyone starts eating except for Sarah who just lays her head on the table and closes her eyes.

Sam: Hum Sarah?

Sarah: Whaaat? She says getting more annoyed.

Sam: You're supposed to sit up straight otherwise you might get sick.

Sarah: I think I've got it but thanks mom.

Dean: It wasn't a request Sarah.

Sarah: Fine. She rolls her eyes but sits up straight.

Krissy: Does it hurt? Krissy asks pointing at the tube.

Sarah: Why, you want one?

Krissy: Just wondering. What's wrong with you?

Sam: Girls, Sam warns.

Sarah: What's wrong with me is that I have a plastic tube going from my nose into my stomach.

Krissy: Liar.

Sarah: Excuse me?

Krissy: It's not the tube that's bothering you. It's how much calories they're making you eat. I bet that must be hard.
