Jian yi stared at his phone, frowning.
"Relationship goals my ass... all you do is harass him." He mumbles.
"What was that?"
Jian yi looks up startled that he didn't hear Xixi walk out of their bedroom.
"It's midnight. You should sleep." Zhan yawned .
Jian yi continued to frown.
"What?"
"Xixi... are we... relationship goals?"
"Are we.. are we what?" Zhan spits out, confused.
Jian yi's frown deepened.
"It's just that, he tian and redhead are also so... you know?"
"What are you talking about, Jian yi? Are you drunk?" He asks while walking towards the other.
"What? No. I mean that they're always so intimate."
"So?"
"So... I want us to have the same thing."
Zhan stared blankly at Jian yi. He was hurt by his words. Was he not good enough for Jian yi? He waited for him when he disappeared. He was first to confess. Was that not good enough?
"What- What are you trying to say?"
Jian yi didn't answer. He stared at everything except his lover.
He took a breath.
Silence.
Another.
"I love you."
Zhan Zheng xi's eyes widen.
"Say it back."
"W-What? Jian yi, you're not-"
"Say it back, please. Even if- even if you don't mean it." - "I just want to hear it... please."
"Jian yi... I-"
Zhan Zheng xi's words were quickly cut off when he saw the others eyes water.
"Hey..! Why are you- please don't- Jian yi, please."
"I'm sorry..." Jian yi sobs "I understand, it's too sudden."
"Jian yi..."
"It's fine, Xixi. I'm tired. Let's sleep, yeah?"
"Jian yi."
Jian yi didn't answer.
"You're an idiot."
"I know..." Jian yi breaks a sob.
"You're an idiot to think that I... that I don't love you too."
"Xixi I- What?"
"I love you.... I do. I love you, Jian yi."
Jian yi's eyes water again as he launches himself at the other, earning a soft 'omf!'
"I love you , Xixi. I love you so much." He whispered quietly, softly planting loving kisses over the others face.
"Hey..! Common, stop crying, idiot."
