— This is my version of what could happen in the next chapter.. —
Mo held onto He Tian's shirt tighter once he had felt the other hug him back.
He almost lost him.
And it wasn't even the first time He Tian had gotten hurt cause of him.
"Sorry.." he whispered, his voice broken.
He feels He Tian turn his head a little. "What?"
"You got hurt 'cause of me.. again" he sniffed.
He Tian sighs, his hands drawing soothing circles on the redheads back.
"You're safe, that's what's important."
Mo feels his heart clench.
He Tian was always there when he needed him. Yet, he felt as if he couldn't provide the same.
He felt.. selfish.
"Y-you got hurt.. that's more important than me...!"
Finally, he lets go of the other, rubbing the tears alway from his eyes.
He Tian smiled, his hands cupping mo's face, fingers tenderly rubbing the redheads tear stained cheeks.
Mo had finally managed to stop crying , he notices He Tians body full of dirt, little bits of his skin is torn.
"We should get you cleaned up." He whispers.
"I could say the same to you."
Mo looks at the other confused as He Tian tilted his head towards the redheads hands.
He looks down.
Oh.
He had forgotten about that.
He had been so sacred, the adrenaline hitting him high when he dug his hands in the mud. Desperately trying to find He Tian.
Mo shakes his head , "I'm fine." - "can you walk?"
He Tian slowly stands, his hands shake as he grips onto Mos shoulder.
"Ah, seems like my ankle got sprained.."
Mo only nods before wrapping He Tians arm around his shoulders.
"I'll help you, we'll get to Grannies quicker."
He Tian smiles. "Of course."

"Xixi.. should we tell them that we're still here??"
Zhang Zheng Xi stares at the other, then back at the other two already steps ahead.
"They'll be fine."
"Xixi! How come you don't carry me like that! What if I'm hurt too!?"
"Are you?"
"No..."
Zhang Zheng Xi rolled his eyes before grabbing Jian Yis hand.
"Let's go, I don't want you getting sick."
