Chapter 21: Taking The Lead

(OH, and I apologise in advance for this. 1, bc stiles is a hard nut to write & 2, this was just so hard to write so it might be all over the place)

Stiles' POV

I don't know how I've done it, but I'm pretty sure I managed to get out of a grounding from my dad.

If running from the hospital after basically solving one of his old arson cases counts as getting off of a grounding... I'm sure it does. Or it's a close equivalent to it.

Which is why I am currently driving Jackson's car, it's nice but way too small. I barely have space to move, how the hell does Jackson do it?

Plus I'm not even sure why Jackson is even here but I think he actually wants to help, after realising how serious this actually is when he saw Lydia in hospital.

Lydia...

Mia.

Holy crap does she know about Lydia?

I literally just left her at the school, I would have phoned her but Peter took my phone and Jackson doesn't even have her number. Or so he says.

Well I have probably ruined any chance I have now, brilliant.

Great job Stiles, leave the one girl who just said she was willing to go on a freaking date with you stranded at the formal.

Great. Freaking. Job.

As soon as we get near the Hale house the first thing I see is Peter- well, the alpha'd up version of Peter walking out of the house. How did this become our lives? Like yeah, I will admit its awesome that the things I would only have seen in movies are real, but actually living in it? Not as awesome as you would think. This time last year I would probably be in my room watching The Walking Dead while most-likely scrolling through Mia's instagram and wishing she would give me the smallest bit of attention. That sounds creepy, true, but creepy.

My life now involves freaking werewolves, and I'm actually friends with Mia with a potential date on the line. Well... If she forgives me for ditching her, but I did have good reasons so I hope she does forgive me anyway.

I park the car a little bit from the house and signal Jackson to give me one of the Molotov Cocktails we made in the hospital, which he did with slightly shaking hands which made me feel a lot better about being scared myself, at least I wasn't the only one literally terrified right now.

We slowly got out of the car and stood outside of the doors, I didn't waste time in throwing the Molotov that was in my hands at the Alpha. It flew straight up to him, holy crap I actually threw that?! Why isn't coach here to see that-

My proud inner monologue was cut short by my epic failure, Peter freaking caught it. And it didn't even explode.

"Oh, damn." I mutter, seeing Peter stare right at me.

I think he's mad...

"Allison!" I hear Scott yell, gaining my attention.

I see him throw her a crossbow- a crossbow?! She shoots an arrow at the same time Jackson throws another Molotov Cocktail at the alpha, this time it actually sets him on fire.

Well... I guess thats how it's done.

I take now to actually look around where we are, this place is much creepier in the dark.

When my eyes glaze over to the other side of where all the fighting was happening I see a figure laying on the ground.

Who else is here?
