Chapter 11

Billy headed up to his lifeguard stand and you headed back to your chair. You saw Niel get up once you were on the other side of the pool back in your chair and slowly walk back to his truck. You were thankful Billy stood up to his dad. You looked over at Billy watching you grinning from ear to ear which made your heart melt. You closed your eyes and took a nap in your chair.

A little while later you felt someone tap you on the shoulder. You opened your eyes to be met with Billy in his change of clothes. "Its time to go princess, you fell asleep." Said Billy reaching his hand out to you. You nodded and sat up. You didnt even realize you fell asleep. You headed to the locker room to change out of your swimsuit. As you exited the locker room you saw Billy waiting by the gate. You walked over to him with your bag in hand. He took his cigarette out of his mouth to give you a kiss. "Are you ready to go back to our place?" Billy asked giving you a smirk. "Our place? I like the sound of that. My parents should be coming over soon to bring some stuff over and some food." You said well wrapping your arms around him. Billy took the bag from you and threw it over his shoulder. The two of you walked back to the parking lot. You walked back to Billy's car with him. "I'll see you back at our place princess." Said Billy as he got into his car throwing your bag in the back seat. He gave you a kiss goodbye. You headed back to your truck and noticed Billy was waiting for you to leave before he left. You had the keys so he wanted you to get back to the cabin the same time he did. You started your truck up and pulled out of the parking lot with Billy following.

The two of you got back to the cabin. Billy grabbed your bag out of the back seat as you walked towards the door to unlock it. You walked in with Billy following behind you. "I have your stuff in my truck baby. Do you want to help me get it out? I dont feel like having to lift your weights again." You say as you wrap your arms around his neck. "Wait you carried my weight set out to the truck. Those are heavy. What if you hurt yourself princess?" Billy asked concerned. "First, I was careful when I carried them out.  Second I took the weights off the bar before I put everything in the truck so I'm fine. And third if I hurt myself I guess you would have to give me a massage later on tonight." You said winking at him. He gave you his signature smirk and walked out to the truck with your keys in his hand so he could unlock the back of the truck. Billy carried the weighs in and you grabbed the bags you packed for him and headed back inside. "Do you want to set the weights back up and I'll unpack your stuff for you baby?" You asked. Billy nodded. You headed back to the bedroom with the bags in your hand. You put his clothes in the dresser. You decided to put his cologne ontop of the dresser along with the picture of the two of you. You set his shampoo in the bathroom and then you looked down at the picture of his mom. You wanted to find the perfect place for it to go. You decided until you got a frame for it you would put it on the mirror attached to the dresser. Billy walked in as you were putting the picture in the mirror. "Thank you for bringing that" Billy said as he wrapped his arms around your waist. "I knew I had to bring that picture with me. I will put it in a frame when I can." You told him as you turned around to give him a hug. "I want her to meet you some day. I want to take you to California so you can walk along the beach with me and i can teach you to surf." Billy said well trying to hold back tears. "I wanted to talk to you about that actually. I was already planning on us taking a trip out there with the money I won from the boxing match." You said well wiping the tears from Billy's face as he began to cry. "Are you serious? When do we leave?" Billy asked astonished. "How does July 5th sound. I know you're going to be busy at the pool with 4th of July." You said well trying to hold back your own tears from escaping. "What about work at your dads shop?" Billy asked now worried. "I'm the bosses daughter, It'll be fine." You said well giggling. Billy picked you up and spun you around. He couldn't believe the two of you were going to California. "I love you so much, you know that right (Y/N)." Billy said well setting you back on the ground. "And I love you too Billy Hargrove. So very much." You said as the both of you teared up. Billy grabbed his jacket off the chair in the bedroom and pulled the check out of his pocket. "California, we are going to California." Billy mumbled to himself causing your heart to swell.
