Chapter 25

Once the shock wore off Billy's mom immediately embraced him in a hug. Billy hugged her back. Tears streaming down both of their faces as well as yours. You were so happy that Billy was able to see his mom again.

After Billy and his mom broke apart from their hug she hugged you just as tight. After she hugged you she turned to look at both of you. "Please come in." She said stepping aside to let the two of you in.

"Mom, this is my girlfriend (Y/N)." Said Billy putting his arm around you. "Its nice to meet you. My name is Tonya." Said Billy's mom. "Its nice to meet you Tonya." You said. She smiled at you.

Billy and his mom went into the kitchen to catch up. You decided to go out to the car and grab the photo album filled with pictures of Billy and you and your Polaroid so you could get pictures.

When you walked back into the small house Billy and his mom were now sitting down on the couch. Billy looked over at you. "What do you have in your hand princess?" Asked Billy, knowing exactly what you had. "Just some pictures." You said smiling. Billy rolled his eyes and took the photo album from you. You sat down on the couch next to Billy. He handed the photo album to his mom. "These are some of the pictures (Y/N) and I took over the past year since we have been friends." Said Billy. "Wait, how long have the two of you been dating?" Asked Tonya as she flipped through the pictures. "Since the beginning of June." You said. "Sweetie, by the way these pictures are I would have sworn the two you were dating when these pictures were taken." Admitted Tonya. "I'll be right back baby." You told Billy before kissing him on the cheek. Tonya already showed you where the bathroom was in the house just incase either Billy or you had to use it. Tonya watched as you quickly left. She looked through the rest of the pictures by the time you returned. "Thank you for bringing this along. I'm glad to see my son has turned into a wonderful young man." Said Tonya. "You're welcome. He is a wonderful man." You admitted playing with Billy's hair which caused him to roll his eyes.

"Billy, do you remember that food vendor I would always take you to as a kid?" Asked Tonya. "Yeah they had the best food on the beach." Said Billy. "Would you be able to run down and grab some food for the three of us. Here is some money. I want to have some time to get to know your girlfriend." Said Tonya. Billy grabbed the money and left to get food. You began to feel nervous.

Tonya patted the couch cushion that was next to her signaling for you to sit closer to her. You moved over next to her and sat back down. "So, does Billy know?" Tonya asked. Your eyes widened. "Kn..know what?" You stuttered. "That your pregnant." Said Tonya. "Yes he does know. But how did you know?" You asked. "Sometimes a mother just knows these things. How far along are you?" She asked. "I'm not sure exactly. We were going to schedule an appointment when we got back to Indiana." You admitted. "I'm happy for the both of you. I can tell my son really truly does love you." Tonya admitted. "I love him too." You said. "I can tell." Said Tonya giving you a hug. "I just have one more question. Was it your idea to bring Billy here?" Tonya asked. "Yeah, I got the address from one of your friends." You admitted. "I'm glad you did." Said Tonya.

Billy returned with the food. He saw his mom and you laughing and joking on the couch. It made him happy to see the two most important people in his life getting along so well. He set the bags of food down on the counter in the kitchen and walked over to the two of you were seated on the couch. He leaned over the back of the couch and kissed you. "I brought back food princess. It's time to eat." Said Billy.

Tonya and you got up off the couch. "Billy can you help me with something really quick before we eat?" Tonya asked her son. Billy nodded his head and followed her. You decided to go ahead and take the food out of the bag. The food smelled delicious.

Tonya closed the door of her bedroom behind Billy and walked over to her dresser. She opened her jewlery box and pulled out a small velvet box. "This was my wedding ring. I want you to have it. If and when you need it." Said Tonya holding the box out to Billy. Billy grabbed it and put it into his Jean pocket. "Thank you." Said Billy giving his mom a hug. "Is the baby doing ok?" Tonya asked. Billy's eyes grew wide. He didn't know how to respond. "Its ok Billy I know. I already figured it out. Sometimes a mother just knows. "Said Tonya resting a comforting hand on Billy's shoulder. "The baby is fine, thank you." Said Billy. "We should probably go back out there and eat." Said Tonya opening the door.
