Chapter 16

Time skip
One week later

It has been a relaxing week for Billy and you. You found out from Billy Mrs. Wheeler hasn't returned to the pool since you spoke to her. Nancy had told you that her mom and dad have gone to marriage counseling. Mike on the other hand has had rough week. He has refused to go home to face his mom. Mike has been staying at Will's house for most of the week. It breaks your heart to see him go through this but you know in time it will get better for him.

You had just gotten off of work and were ready for the weekend to begin. Billy was still at work until 5PM. The two of you decided to invite El and Max over to spend the weekend with the two of you. El has always looked at you like an older sister and you have always felt the same with El. She was like the little sister you always wanted. The two of you always shared that bond. Since you and Billy had become friends Max always looked at you like a sister too. You loved them both dearly and missed them. You knew Billy missed Max too even if he wouldn't admit it outloud. Hopper was supposed to drop the girls off at the cabin around 5 so they could have dinner with you and Billy.

5PM came around and Hopper was running a few minutes late. At around 5:15pm you saw Hopper pull into the driveway well you were outside smoking a cigarette on the porch. He put his car in park as the two girls jumped out of the truck and ran over to you giving you the biggest hug ever. You hugged them tightly. Hopper walked over to you well carrying the girls bags. As far as Susan knew Max was staying with Hopper all weekend so Niel wouldnt be suspicious.

Hopper set the girls bags on the porch and gave you a hug as well. Hopper was always like a second dad to you. "Hey kiddo." Said Hopper as he hugged you. "Hey Hop." You said well giving him a hug back. "How are you guys doing. Any more run ins with Niel?" Hopper asked concerned. You shook your head. "Good, I know you and Billy can take care of yourselves but I still worry about you kid." Said Hopper. "I know you do but I've already kicked his ass once and if I have to I'll kick his ass again." You said giving Hopper a half smile. "I know you will (Y/N)." Said Hopper chuckling.

Hopper walked over to El and gave her a hug well Max stood over by you. "Now you'll be good for Billy and (Y/N) right? You'll listen to them." Said Hopper. "Yes I will be good and I'll listen to them." Said El. "Good, I will see you girls Sunday. Call me if you need anything. You too (Y/N)." Said Hopper. The three of you nodded your heads.

Hopper walked back down the steps and back to his truck before waving goodbye and pulling back out of the driveway.

It was a nice evening so you decided to grab the girls bags and set them inside the spare bedroom for them and the three of you headed back on the front porch to sit down on the chairs you had out there.

Billy had just gotten off work and decided to quickly change his clothes and that he would shower later on that night after he got home. He had a gut wrenching feeling in the pit of his stomach he had to get home to you. He hopped into his Camaro and sped off down the road back to the cabin.

Well the three of you were outside you saw a vehicle pull up in the driveway. Hopper must have forgotten something you thought to yourself. As the vehicle slowly approached the cabin you realized just who's vehicle it was. But how? You thought to yourself. Niel slowly approached the cabin.

"Girls get inside the fucking house now! Dont come back outside until I tell you it's safe. Lock the bedroom door and the  door behind me. I wont let him get inside." You yelled. They saw the look in your eyes. It was a look of fear. Not fear for yourself but fear for the girls and Billy. You would never let him lay another hand on Billy ever again. You would protect them until the day you died.

Niel got out of his vehicle slowly. "How the fuck did you find us." You seethed. "What no hello you little whore?" Niel asked. "You know my God damn name you worthless piece of shit. Now I'm going to ask you one last time, how the fuck did you find us." You spit your words like venom. "I followed Hopper's truck. I should have known Max wasn't spending the weekend at her friends." Niel said angrily. "Get the fuck of my property." You yelled. Niel shook his head as he slowly approached you. You had your fists clenched ready to hurt him if he laid a hand on you.
