It's 8:00 in the evening. Katatapos ko lang gumawa ng lesson plan. The school days have started, medyo nangangapa at naninibago pa ako. Pero I am sure masasanay din. Naalala ko si Joya. How would it have been kung buhay pa siya?
I am sure, sabay kaming gagawa ng lesson plan at IMs. Sabay papasok at sabay uuwi. Magle-late-night talk about our students na pasaway at sakit ng ulo, 'yong gwapong co-teacher sa MAPEH Department, at kung ano-ano pa.
How I missed her. Kaya naman naisipan kong ilabas ang phone niya mula sa drawer.
Pagkatapos kong tignan ang mga larawan namin sa gallery niya. I scrolled some of her saved videos. Mahilig kasi 'yon mag-vlog kunwari. Ayaw namang i-upload.
My attention was caught by an unfamiliar video. It was documented a week before she's gone missing. Napahugot ako ng hininga. I played and watch it silently.
"Hello, everything! How are you to find out!?" Bungad niyang pagbati na ikinatawa ko. Mahilig kasi siyang manggaya ng mga vlogger na sikat. Hindi ko lang alam kung sinong vlogger ang ginagaya niya in this video.
"This video is my message for my best friend. Gusto kong sabihin nang personal pero baka maiyak ako at makalimutan ko 'yong lines so I chose to video myself na lang."
I felt something warm tugged my heart. Kahit ngumiti siya, unti-unting pumatak ang mga luha ko, making my vision blurry. Pinahid ko iyon at muling itinuon ang atensiyon sa video.
