I must've fell asleep because before I knew it, I was being shaken awake "five more minutes!" I mumbled before realizing who it was so I opened my eyes and straightened up seeing Richard holding in laughter "sorry.." I said..well that's kinda embarrassing. I checked my mouth for drool while being informed we had landed in Berlin.

"Okay, so..where do we go?" I asked grabbing my overhead bags "umm..a hotel?" I nodded and agreed "apparently there is a rental car already here for us..." I said looking at the text messages from my mom "apparently it's a black sports car" I must admit I was pretty excited to see the car "you can drive right?" He asked I just snorted "yeah! I have two cars at home..I'm just a hermit and don't like to leave the house.." He just shook his head laughing "what?" He didn't bother looking at me "you're not like a lot of other rich people I know..that's all" good. "Is that a bad thing?" I asked genuinely curious "no, it's actually quite refreshing. You don't put yourself in the spotlight along with your mother and father" true. "I want my own spotlight" I sighed "what do you want to do?" I didn't want to tell him..."I...I wanted to be a guitarist for a band.." He laughed with a huge smile across his face "so you know how to play?" I nodded "that's why your father asked me about my music abilities.." Before we could say anything else we noticed the car and my god it was gorgeous..... We just looked at each other knowing we'd both never seen a more exquisite car "I'll drive.." I said going over to the drivers side and popping the trunk and putting my junk in "I'll drive. Unless you know your way around berlin?" I sighed and threw the keys at him. This would be a long ride.

Surprisingly Richard wasn't lame, he went a little over the speed limit..I was impressed. He knew exactly where to go the only conversation we had was when he asked what hotel we'd be staying in. I just looked and observed how something's were so different while others were the exact same as America. But in Germany's defense, it was indisputably beautiful.

We pulled into the hotel parking lot and I grabbed my bags and suitcases wheeling them into the hotel "room for Parker and Kruspe" I said breathlessly to the woman working at the counter, she began frantically typing she must've understood me "there is only a reservation for Parker" her accent was thick I looked over to Richard "they must've forgot to order another room.." I mentally rolled my eyes "the room you have has two beds if that helps?" I contemplated just buying another room but I knew that would kill our funding..."well, looks like we're rooming together" he just sighed, must not be too thrilled about it. The woman whose name tag read 'Brigitte' handed me two key cards to which I passed one to Richard "you know, in case I'm out partying or something.." I joked, he just shook his head as we walked to the elevator. This hotel must've been a fortune...it was so fancy..you don't even know.

When I slid the key card in and opened the door I immediately back out bumping into Richard slightly "oh. My. God." Was all my brain could spit out as I ran in trying to take in everything, a huge chandelier hanging above gracefully and the tv that took up most of the whole wall..plus the kitchen was stocked with german delicacies. "This is a gut room!" I yelled to Richard "Ja, you're learning!" He said applauding my use of the german word good. The beds were in the same room practically with nothing in between them but a little nightstand, being the gentleman Richard is he let me choose which ever bed I wanted first, so I took the one by the balcony. "This place is awesome" I plopped onto the bed "yeah" one last thing bothering me.."Reesh?" He sat back up on his bed "what?" "Where's the wiener shnitzels?" He just laughed and rolled his eyes while laying back down. This was going to be a great adventure with Reesh, but something tells me I'm not going to be completely okay if he decides to stay.
