"Hello passengers, we are now landing in New York City, USA." The overhead speaker woke you up from your nap.

Darkness and overlayed clouds could be seen out the plane window. The gentle moonlight casted over the shimmering city, almost like stars in the bare night sky.

Your body felt stiff sleeping on the flight, even though it's something you have to get used to.

The plane landed and everyone stood to retrieve their bags. You stayed a bit longer to stall and process your situation.

The time in Korea felt like a dream: everything happened so quickly, just for it to be gone again.

"Took you long enough, you only have an hour left until your flight." Sung greets you and Yeonjun as you sit in the medical room.

You rolled your eyes as the boys behind and beside you scoffed.

It never sat right with Yeonjun how inconsiderate Sung was when it came to you. For someone who specialized in soulmates, you'd think she'd be more sympathetic and emotional.

Sung did her usual routine, calibrating the monitors, uploading the information to the database, stuff you usually went along with.

"Has there been any changes to your tattoos?" She asked.

"Not any noticeable ones, no." Yeonjun answered, you nodding along.

"Well be sure to check on them. Y/N won't be able to have the wave monitor while she's abroad, so we can't track your progress."

Yeonjun gave you a worried look, one you still didn't understand.

Notifications flooded your phone as soon as you stepped back into your apartment, nearly causing you to drop your bag.

The bright screen slightly stung your eyes, trying to adjust the brightness.
You skimmed over the emails from JYP, BigHit, and school to go straight to messages.

There was a handful from your parents, roommate, and trainees from JYP.
The thought of having to explain to everyone what was happening could give you a migraine alone.

You watched the three dots appear under Yeonjun's name as you stared at the messages.
It would be morning by now it Korea, so he'd be starting his first day without you.

Jun:
-Please call or text me when you're home
-As soon as Beomgyu wakes up we'll be in comeback-prep mode

>Is it wrong to say that I miss you?

Yeonjun's thumb hovered over the send button, contemplating his last message.

Your goodbye was still making him weary, and he didn't exactly know where you stood.

"You can't come to the airport, Yeonjun." Manager Singyu informed him.

You'd already packed the van and gotten into your seat, Namjoon sitting beside you.
