"Trauma...?" You muttered quietly.

You were aware of your distaste towards anything gorey or violent, assuming that everyone else had the same.

Maybe that distaste was enhanced by your anxiety. But to the point where it was medically diagnosed as trauma?

It was hard to process.

"I think it'd be best if we prescribed you some benzodiazepines to help." Dr. Hwang wrote in her notepad.

"Benzo..?"

"It's a mild sedative that'll help ease your mind, therefore lowering the chances of another anxiety attack," She walked over to a cabinet and looks through the bottles.

"As for the PTSD, we'll start with Cognitive Processing therapy. I'll send your manager the schedule once we have one set."

"You said it was a sedative? Is that going to affect my training?"

"Possibly.. The side effects differ for everyone: drowsiness, headaches, depression, memory loss, just to name a few."

"I'd rather keep going as I am.."

"That's not an option."

"Why not? Do you think there's something wrong with me?"

"No, but it's not normal, Y/N. Your body is reacting to all these small triggers as if your life depended on it. With your already existing anxiety, the trauma can easily take over your life."

You stayed silent, already accepting whatever plan people had in mind for you

It wasn't the first time your life was in the hands of someone else.

"How was practice?" Taehyun meets you in the practice room as you laid on the floor.

You've been closing your eyes back and forth to test the occurrence of the colors. But they were long gone.

The feeling of impending doom however, still
lingered.

how long until the effects?

Sitting with the group in that practice room earlier was suffocating. You had to run, your instincts screamed to get out before you were too late.

You were terrified. Of what though?

That part was blurry.

"It went well. I get to go to the trainee studio tomorrow." You sat up, brushing down your hair.

"That's exciting! The instructors might be more tough on you then. But you got this, just continue being the best you you can be." Taehyun always brought a calm aura when he was around; other times, usually instigated by the other boys, the aura can be more chaotic.

But you appreciated it nevertheless.

"Are you feeling okay?" He asked softly, trying to respect your boundaries.

You nodded.

"Yeonjunnie-hyung will be here soon. You have another counseling session tonight." Taehyun said before heading to the door.

"She's fine hyung, don't worry too much." You heard Taehyun say quietly before he closed the door, leaving you to yourself.

A sigh escaped your lips after hearing the words 'counseling session'.
