Chapter 76: Lessons for a Master

"I know this looks easy and I talk big.." Aria's eyes change back to green and she falls "but I'm actually drained"

"Why didn't you tell me idiot!?" Lloyd shouts and he picks her up

"Sorry" Aria apologizes

"Don't worry, you've done enough for now" Lloyd says

"We have to run" Nya tells him

"Run! Two of us can't even stand!" Dareth shouts

Garmadon gains control of the Colossus and gets ready to destroy the building they're standing on.

"Let's move!" Lloyd shouts

A car is thrown at the doorway, blocking their way into the building. Nya picks up Skylor. Lloyd, Nya, and Dareth look back to see the Colossus hammer a blow on the building and immediately run to jump at the building next to theirs.

"Jump, Dareth!" Nya shouts as another car is thrown at them.

"Ah" Darer jumps, screaming. He lands on edge of building, grabbing hold of it in last second. Nya jumps, landing with a small twirl on the next building. She grabs Dareth before he falls over.

Nya looks up at Lloyd who's holding Aria "Throw her over!"

"Oh hell no" Aria holds onto Lloyd "I will fall to my death"

Lloyd looks at the Colossus, waiting to deal a blow Lloyd jumps into the air as the Colossus punches the building. Lloyd lands on the Colossi's fist. Garmadon sees Lloyd and tries to throw him off. Lloyd runs across the fist, landing on the building with Nya and Dareth.

"Never do that again" Aria whined hiding her face in Lloyd's chest

"Were you scared?" Lloyd asks

"More like afraid you were going to drop me" Aria replies

"I would never drop you" Lloyd tells her

The Colossus roars

Dareth screams and jumps in fear. Everyone runs away.

"You think you can hide from my wrath!" Garmadon uses the Colossus to punch the building "I'll destroy every building to find you!"

Nya, Dareth, Lloyd run through an aisle to stop at another street. Lloyd puts Aria down and Nya puts Skylor down.

"Ever since Garmadon lost Harumi, he's lost his marbles!" Dareth shouts

Nya nods "Dareth's right. He's not going to stop until he finds us"

"I know" Lloyd says

"There's only one thing that can withstand that. I ditched the Battle Wagon across town. If we can get to it...we can leave the city" Nya suggests

"Leave the city?!" Lloyd shouts

"Just until things calm down" Nya explains

"Lloyd, I'm with Nya. Mistaké said we needed to survive until the Ninja got back. Well, where are they, huh? There's no shame in knowing when to turn tails" Dareth says

"Okay, we go for the Battle Wagon" Lloyd grunts, picking Aria up "But we're not skipping town. We hold on for as long as we can" Nya and Dareth run off. Lloyd looks up "Where are you guys?" Lloyd runs

"Lloyd put me down, I can run" Aria says

"No way, you need to save your energy" Lloyd argues "I need you back at full strength to fight-"

"Lloyd-"

"Don't argue with me, just shut up and let me protect you" Lloyd commands

Aria smiles a bit and lays her head against him "yes sir"

In Ninjago, Garmadon is still searching and smashing buildings.

"The battle-wagon is just up ahead" Nya says

Nya, Dareth, Lloyd realize the quietness, and turn around to find Ultra Violet on the phone looking at them in surprise.

"Oh great" Aria comments

Ultra Violet smiles evilly, drops phone. Runs to them, calling out mockingly "Heh heh. Green Ninjaaaa!"

"Go. Get to the battle-wagon" Nya commands

"No. We stay together" Lloyd argues

"Not this time. Now, go!" Nya shouts

Dareth and Lloyd carry Skylor and Aria off to the battle-wagon. Ultra Violet holds up her sai, ready to kill Nya, but get hit by the battle-wagon.

"Nya!" Lloyd runs over to see a car on top of her, he tries to pull the car off of her, with Dareth and they succeed "Are you hurt?"

"My shoulder" Nya pants, holding her shoulder "It's pretty bad"

"Let's get her to the battle-wagon" Lloyd says

Ultra Violet gets up and somersaults over the wall. She tries to stand up. Mask of Hatred splits apart.

"Does she ever quit?" Nya questions

Ultra Violet falls down. Sons of Garmadon gang drive in and surround the rest of the Resistance. Aria gets out of the truck and stands next to them.

"Aria-"

"Stop, look" Aria held out her arms, so scars or anything, Lloyd looks at her, their was no scars anywhere at all

"You're-"

"Healed" Aria smiles "all healed"
