TRIGGER WARNING: GORE
PROCEED.

I liked quiet days. They were calm and set my mind at ease with the routine of signing things and reading over papers. I thought my second day would just like that, quiet and predictable.

But of course, it wasn't.

"(Y/N)!" Exclaimed Chiharu over the intercom, ruining my hope of a quiet day, "Turn on Channel Eight!"

I sighed, grabbing the remote in my drawer and turning on the television in front of my desk.

"-brawl. No back up seems to be coming, but several pro heroes are on the scene. We don't know much, but we do know that at least two people are injured, hero or villain remains to be seen," said the woman on the screen, looking serious.

The imagery on the screen was taken from a helicopter, or someone with a flying quirk. Smoke filled the air, creating a dome around the fight. It was impossible to see inside.

"Iida..." I muttered, watching him run around the area, throwing something to Ojiro.

"They need back up." I said, running out of my office, rolling up my sleeves.

"I'm going to help!" I yelled as I ran towards the door.

"Be careful!" Chiharu called after me, but I barely heard her as I ran down the street.

I ran towards where the fight was, having known where some of the buildings in the shot were.

I saw a shadow pass over me, making me look up. I smirked when I saw the red wings of Hawks spread across the sky.

"Hawks!" I yelled, making him look back at me. "Do you remember me?" I asked, not caring if I drew attention. His flying slowed as he studied my face.

"Agent... (L/N)? Right?" He asked.

"Yeah! You going to help with the fight too?" I asked.

"Yeah!" He yelled, "need a ride?"

"Always!"

"Hold up your arms!" He yelled down, turning to fully towards me.

I stopped running, lifting both arms above my head and closing my eyes.

I was taken off guard when Hawks rammed into me, grabbing my arms with his.

"Brace yourself." He told me as we flew higher. He threw me up, grabbing my waist to get a better grip.

"How you doing man?" I asked, holding the arms on my waist with my own.

"I've been doing good, doing good. You've been well I hope, we haven't spoken since we met."

"I know, I'm surprised you recognized me."

"It's not everyday I meet a genius like you. You left quite the impression." He told me, chuckling. We had met before at some event and ended up hanging around each other for the entire thing. We haven't talked since then, so I was surprised when he recognized me.

I looked out at the scene below me, seeing the beautiful city. We had a ways to go before we reached the fight scene.

"You know, I should just steal your quirk one of these days," I said jokingly, "it would make getting to sites easier. Plus I could go flying whenever I wanted."

Hawks laughed, adjusting his grip on me.

"You should."

I laughed, "what?"

"Take it. My quirk." He told me. I turned my head to look at the winged hero that held me.
