I walked into the lobby, the petite receptionist glancing up at me. She looked up again once she realized I looked out of place.

Can you please not? I thought as I walked to the front doors. I felt her eyes look me up and down, trying to figure out where the hell I had come from.

While walking it dawned on me how incredibly cold I was. I was freezing. It was from using that stupid ice quirk I had. I never used it much so it's easy to pass it's limit. I guess I was to high on adrenaline to notice my body temperature before.

I stopping in front of the glass doors, seeing people run around, trying to aid in the cleanup.

I put my hand on the door handle before a shiver ran down my spine. Shaking in off, I pulled the door open and walked out.

I stood still for a moment as people ran back and forth, yelling at each other and throwing things back and forth. I rubbed my arms to try and warm myself up, but my hands were the coldest part of my body.

"(Y/N)!" Someone yelled. I whipped towards the voice, seeing Shoto run towards me.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" He asked once he was in front of me, rubbing my arms as I was a moment before.

"Yes, I'm fine. Are you ok?" I asked in return.

"Yes, yes I'm fine. Was that really you? With the ice? Where did you get that quirk?" He asked frantically.

I felt his left hand heat up slightly, not hot, just warm. I put my hand on the back of his, keeping it on my arm.

"Yes it was me and I'm freezing." I answered. Shoto rubbed my right arm, heating it up to a normal temperature quickly.

"Thank you." I said as he wrapped his arm around my back, rubbing my other arm and steering me away.

"You didn't answer my question, where did you get that quirk?" He asked.

"My normal quirk, Analyst. It allows me to steal other people's quirks from their brains." I responded, leaning into Shoto to try and steal his body heat.

"(Y/N)." He said sternly. "Did you get the ice quirk from me?" He stared straight into my eyes, a serious look on his face. I was startled by the change in personality.

So he thinks I got it from him. I didn't obviously, but somehow he feels betrayed. Why?

"Oh Temperature, no." I answered. "I got it from one of my neighbors as a kid. I wouldn't take your quirk without permission." I assured him, watching his face soften.

It wasn't a lie. I wouldn't take his quirk without his permission. Not his anyway. Other people were free range. At least before I had morals that is.

"Alright. I'm sorry for getting upset, it's just I started to panic when I thought you had." He explained.

Why? I thought. Why did he panic?

Before I could ask, Iida ran over to me.

"(L/N), thank god! You're safe!" He exclaimed.

"Yeah, yeah I am. Are you alright Iida? You're not hurt?"

"No, I'm fine! I'm just glad you're safe!" He exclaimed.

"Thanks for the concern. What can I do? Let me help with clean up." I insisted. Shoto was still rubbing my arm, the heat spreading through my body.

"If you insist. Follow me." He said, turning and starting to walk in the direction he came.

I started to walk away before Shoto stopped me.
