"Masuda Kata, you are under arrest for the abduction and endangerment of children, as well as the abductions and murders of Ono Akemi, Peter Gates, James Hammond and at least ten others. You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in court. You have the right to an attorney, if you can not afford one, one will be provided for you," I listed off her rights as I clamped silver bracelets on her wrists, the woman staying perfectly still and being perfectly compliant.
I ducked her head under the roof of the police cruiser, and before I shut the door, she looked up at me.
"You're wrong you know. I'm innocent."
"Honey, I'm never wrong."

"Ok wait," Chiharu started, "that's the Father Killer?"
We stood side by side in front of the one way mirror, watching Masuda fidget with Daichi on the other side of me.
"That's her."
"But she's a woman! You almost never have female unsubs, and especially not with that much overkill!" Chiharu exclaimed, making me look at her.
"Did you look through my case notes again?"
"Case notes, what do you- ha! What do you mean? I don't know about any... case..." she trailed off as I raised my eyebrow. "What a nice plant, is this a new plant?"
"No Chiharu, it's been there for years. You picked it out."
"Did I? How lovely of me." She stated, playing with the large green leaves.
"Ok, an obviously deflecting Chiharu aside, really, how'd you know it was a woman?" Daichi asked, making me look away from Chiharu and towards the glass again.
"Because of the motive. Very few men, especially psychotic men would be swept up in anger towards an indirect family member to murder people. Remember when you told me that story about that girl, Shimizu Yoshie? Well, something similar happened to Masuda Kata, this woman's alias. She only used the names of little girls with similar stories, and you traced it all the way back to Angelina Smith. This woman, who's real name is Sandra Hreak, was Angelina's vengeful aunt." I paused for a moment. "Wait why did you ask, you found her for me."
"Because I thought you were gonna question her, not arrest her! Besides, you never tell me why I need to find certain people, I feel very left out."
"Hey, the only reason Chiharu knows is because she goes through my case notes," I reminded him.
"Such a beautiful plant!"

"I'm telling you, I'm innocent. I'll sue, this is harassment." Masuda ranted, staring me down as I sat on the table in front of her.
I shrugged, putting my leg up on the chair I was supposed to be sitting in.
"I haven't harassed you. The officers that drove us here and sat you in that chair adhered to protocol perfectly. Besides, I have a sizable amount of evidence against you, why wouldn't I bring you in?"
