NINE. DISTANCE

It seemed like everything was going downhill as soon as the day was over.

She expected them to at least say good morning but once she entered the room, they all shuffled out.

She would be lying if she said it didn't hurt, it did. But she also didn't want to admit it. She knew what love felt like, she had it for her father, her younger brother, even for her mother and her older brother, though it was significantly less.

Feeling love for something outside of her family was completely foreign to her and even though they were supposedly 'soulmates' and 'destined to be together forever', she didn't want to admit to being in love with seven men who all had mixed feelings for her, one of which, had completely despised her. By choice.

She knew Taehyung still hated her for the death of his father, she would be too, but she also knew he hated her more for telling him why she killed him.

He hated that it was somewhat justified and he hated it even more that he would've done the same thing.

And the fact that the image of his father being the most perfect person, father and husband ruined.

She sat in her room, re-reading the books she got from the library. Bored, she sat up. Wanting a cup of tea.

She walked into the kitchen finding Hoseok in the same room drinking coffee and on his phone, they met eyes for a moment before turning their heads away.

She grabbed a mug, filling it with boiling hot water and a tea bag. Adding some honey in as well.

The tension in the room was thick, the silence was awkward and the whole situation was uncomfortable but she felt his eyes staring at her back.

Annoyed and confused, she turned around.

"What?" She said in an irritated tone, his eyes widened but stayed quiet. Going back onto his phone. "No, you can't just do that. None of you have spoken to me for over 3 days and I keep catching you staring at me, what is your deal?!" She said with anger.

Hoseok could feel the anger she felt in his veins, telling himself that she probably forgot to turn the soul bond off.

He felt horrible when the hint of pain and fear crept up on him, he could feel her trying to suppress the emotions but failing due to how much of it there was.

"Answer me!" She yelled, he finally looked at her. His trained eyes found that her eyes had the ever so glassly look, indicating that she was holding her tears back.

He felt his heart clench in guilt and he couldn't take it, he left his coffee and hurried off to his room, leaving Haeun there, Alone,

She ran her hands through her hair in frustration, holding in a scream.

As much as she tried to hide her emotions from the soul bond, she didn't have enough practice, letting each of her seven soulmates know and feel the pain, agony, frustration and embarrassment she felt.

And they felt it. And it hurt. A lot.

Guilt rid their bodies, though they tried not to let it affect them, it was hard, since they were responsible for most of it, if not all.

She was beyond frustrated, with her emotions and the men who she was currently living with.

There was one more day before they were to travel to the coven, and if they didn't speak soon, haeun didn't want to go.

This whole situation was confusing.
