TWENTY-THREE. I THINK I'M RIGHT

The sound of sheets rustling filled the small cabin room, laughs echoed off the walls and the two smiled brighter than they had in the last two weeks.

"I missed you..." Haeun said vulnerably. Namjoon's eyes softened, pressing a soft kiss onto her forehead.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, baby." He whispered. She nuzzled her face into his bare chest, arms wrapped around him, fearing that he would once again disappear.

"It really hurt," She spoke, her voice small and weak. "It hurt watching the seven of you laugh with her, hug her and do other things... with her."

She shuddered at the thought of them kissing her and having sex, she hated thinking about it and it didn't help that she could feel every emotion they felt, and so the pleasure they were having, the could feel it and it made her sick to her stomach.

"My love," Namjoon said, lifting her face gently to make her look at him. "Our minds were brought back to a time where we were in love with her, but it was all fabricated- it is all fabricated. And I hope you know how much we love you, and how much you mean to us. And I'm not just saying that."

"The love we felt with her could never compare to the love we feel towards you, our soulmate, the last soul of eight, the one we've been searching for 200 years. We love you, and the others may not realize it yet, but they do. They love you so much, as do I." Haeun looked up at him with glossy eyes, a small pout evident on her face. She shifted closer to the man beside her and let out a sigh.

"What are we going to do now, Joon? What's going to happen?"

"We get their real memories back."

✵✵✵

As they packed their things to go back to the penthouse, they made a quick plan.

"So... we pretend like nothing happened?" Haeun asked, a lollipop in her hands.

"For now, when Ashley gets back, we'll talk with her but I need to act like I'm still under her control."

"That kinda sucks though..." Haeun said, tongue blue from the lolly.

"I know, baby, but it's the best for now. I promise not to give her too much of me." Haeun raised her eyebrow, unsatisfied with his solution.

"No pet names, no cuddling, no hugging, no kissing and NO SEX." She warned. Namjoon scoffed, walking over to Haeun.

"After everything you made me feel last night," He smirked, looking down at her plump lips, hands grabbing a handful of her ass, "Why would I ever go back to unsatisfying, fabricated affection?"

She gave him a small smirk, hands grabbing his chin and pressing a kiss on his lips.

"Good answer, babe."

He smiled, grabbing the bags.

"Come on, let's go back to what feels like hell right now."

✵✵✵

They walked back in at separate times, Namjoon had gone in first while Haeun waited a while to go in after.

She opened the door, shuffling in with her oversized sweatshirt and leggings. She closed the door behind her as she walked in.

"Where did you go?" She heard. Haeun looked up to see Miran in a completely different look from when she first met her.

A deep purple dress hung from her figure, hugging her body tightly. Her hair was styled in waves and soft makeup decorated her features.

Haeun glared at the woman in front of her.

"I don't need to answer you," She tried to walk past her but was blocked by her small body. "You're in my house, if you want to keep living here, you will answer me."

"This isn't your house, this is the boys and I don't need to do anything, you know that."

"They love me and respect me, they'll listen to whatever I have to say."

Haeun smirked at the woman.

"The boys are conscious enough to make their own decisions, and right now, they're afraid of me. You know that, so you're trying to scare me. But here's the thing, you are the last thing on earth that I'll ever be afraid of. Now, get out of my way." She seethed, pushing past her and walking to her room, closing the door with a slam of her door.

She let out a harsh sigh as she entered her room, running to her closet to find something to change into after she took a shower.

✵✵✵

She looked in the mirror as she put her earrings in, the black ashy diamond sitting in the middle of gold dangling earrings.

She sighed, her heart was heavy and in pain and even though she had one man back on her side, she had no idea how she did it.

Her thoughts were pulled away from her brain as she heard a knock on the door, her heels clicked her light wood floors as she went to open the door.

She found Namjoon and Ashley, both ushering in quickly.

"Did Namjoon tell you?" Haeun asked, sitting on the cushioned bench at the end of the bed.

"He did, do the both of you really not know how it happened?"

"No, all I remember is one second I feel almost nothing for Haeun, without any memories of her and the next, remembering everything we've been through in the last 2 months."

"What were you doing when all your memories came back?"

"We were just talking- well, more like a saddened confession but we weren't doing much." The two of them sat there in thought while Haeun racked her brain for answers.

"Babe, how did you fall in love with me?"

"W-What?" He said, taken aback. Ashley looked at him, knowing what Haeun was getting at.

"Answer it!" Haeun said, a teasing smile on her face as she saw his embarrassment,

"I-I... I guess it was when you were being honest with me. When you told me why you killed Taehyung's father," Haeun and Ashley looked at each other and smiled.

"I think we just found how to fix this whole thing."
