Filling Spaces

I'm looking for the right space to place my everything
Now if only I had anything to place in this space!

All this tearing turmoil inside me
Is spoiling me into decay

Now if only I had my everything to place in this space.

I keep looking back to see anything
I can see but all I see is a sea of emptiness.

Now if only I had anything and my
Everything to place in this space.

I sense it loosely lighting up around me only to
Reveal this loneliness in place of emptiness.

Now if only I had something to place in this space.

I can't help but think of my own damnation or
Is it my salvation?

Now if only I had someone to place in this space.

I look around to figure out my only option
As I remember my forgotten concoction.

Now if only I had something or someone
To place in this space.

As I was waiting for my plan to spring into action
I saw a silhouette that stirred something in my memory.

Now if only I knew what my memory
Was telling me in this place.

As I look closer I can finally see this shadowy figure
To believe I was forsaken was my only mistake!

My salvation was around me all along
For I was blind to my whereabouts as I never was alone
In this place where she filled all of my space.

Inside the Mind: Okay so as stated in the other madness this was the other poem written waiting for school to start. This is without a doubt what I think is my best poem. I've thought that for a while as well. It also has my signature ending with hope after all the sad stuff. Again misleading as you would think I was talking to someone but in reality I wasn't. I was the most alone I had been in over two years when I wrote this and Hollow. I actually wrote this in my English 11 notebook behind one of my assignments. I made the little arrow showing I had put it on the next page so my teacher would see it. I was that confident in this poem in particular. He read it and made little notes as he went along. I could tell he enjoyed it as a reader because he didn't really critique it. Aside from a couple goods and nice remarks most of them were him commenting on what was happening. It gave me a good sense of pride that did. Especially considering he was one of the two most highly regarded English teachers we had. The other one will come into play in a little bit.
