Tension Pt 2

A/n: Hello everybody! Today is September 3, 2020. I was rereading the book, and realized that one top of the requests I need to fill out, I have a bunch of Part 2s to complete! So, here is Part 2 for the Petra x Reader.

Y/n walks around the kitchen, cooking up a storm. Serving everything onto dishes, she sips her coffee triumphantly.

Xiomara comes out, inhaling the delictable scent. "Hi, sweetheart!"

They exchange hugs. 

Jane waddles out of her room. "Oh, this smells amazing!"

Alba comes in, too. "¡No tenías que hacer todo esto!" You didn't have to do all this!

"Oh, I wanted to."

Jane immediately digs in. "Well, I want to go shopping with Y/n and I'm hungry, so I'm not complaining."

Jane plops down on the bench, panting. Y/n sits down beside her, breathing deeply. Rafael hands Jane her water bottle, rubbing her shoulders gently.

"You good?" She asks her friend.

Jane nods, patting her stomach. "Kid's killing me. I think I'm going to go home and take a nap."

Y/n nods. "That's ok!"

"I can take you home, Jane," Raf offers.

"No, I want you to stay. Y/n needs someone to show her around."

"I can," a voice offers. 

Y/n turns around to see Petra standing behind her, a small hopeful smile on her face.

Her eyes wander down the blonde's beautiful body. Petra is wearing a deep red dress with a plunging neckline.

She catches Y/n's eyes wandering and blushes. 

Rafael beams. "Great!"

Jane begins to protest, but Rafael quickly ushers her away, throwing a wink over his shoulder.

Y/n looks back at Petra. "Lead the way, milady."

They stroll together along the promenade.

Y/n spots a thrift store and squeals. "Oh, I love thrift stores!" She grabs Petra's hand and pulls her inside.

She has a huge smile on her face, while her guide looks around in distaste. Y/n looks at her, laughing. 

Eyeing her outfit again, she speaks up. "I figured thrift stores aren't your scene, but you'd be surprised at the gems you would find."

They scan through the aisles, pulling certain outfits from the racks. Soon, they have a nice stack going.

"Ok, I need you to try these on immediately or I will burst," Y/n says, pushing Petra into a dressing room.

"Wait-!" She exclaims. 

Sighing, she slips out of her dress and into an outfit Y/n picked out. 

After a few minutes of rustling, the curtains draw back to reveal Petra in a black and white striped shirt and mom jeans.
