The Break

I slowly began to open my sore eyes to the bright and beautiful sunshine that was shining into my room and in my face. Only to come to the realization that I was in the hospital.
"Aye bro, ya new ride out front"-Dell
I turned my head to my right side to Keem on the phone with a beautiful baby on his near chest.
"Who would have ever thought to see you smil" I said with a smile on my face
"Hey beautiful" Keem said before getting up to come to me.As he came closer,I came to realize that he was holding our daughter.My eyes begin to water.She is so beautiful.
"Oh my gosh"I said with a cracking voice "Is she ok?" I asked with a conserned voice.He slowly began to place her on my chest.A flow of uncontrollable tears began to run down my face
"Wait,where's my other-" I was interrupted by seeing Keem holding another baby.This time,it was a boy.Hakeem slowly placed him on my chest
"You did good baby"he said kissing me on my forehead
"Knock knock.How you feeling today mom?"-Nurse
"Great now" I said trying to wipe the tears away with my shoulder
"Your family is on their way up.I'm just gonna check your vitals and everything make sure your ok."-Nurse
I shook my head to tell her ok.All I could do is focus on these beautiful angels laying in my arms.
I looked up at Hakeem who was standing over me "Things have got to change" I said with a straight face. He had a worried look on his face.I know it's not easy to just drop what you've known your whole life but I don't want any soul ties to the business that would put the people I love the most in harms way.

"I know" he said before kissing my forehead ever so slightly.

"Good morning!!!!" Mom,Dad,Simba,AJ,and LaLa all shouted

"SHHHHHH" both Keem and I said

"How's my beautiful babies feeling today?"-mom

"Sleepy" I said with a chuckle

"Speaking of babies.Can I please know the name of my niece and nephew?"-AJ

Keem gently grabbed on the babies from arms "Everbody welcome Ava and Aiden Bailey" HE said with a big ass smile.

Later that night......

The family left not too long ago and I'm not going lie,it was nice to see everyone laughing with no drama.It may have been a little shade thrown here and there but there were no fights and that's what was important.I have to admit though,I was bothered at the fact that Keems phone was ringing off the hook and he was whispering to Dell all night.I mean it could be business and maybe I'm just tripping but then I thought back to when Dell told him earlier this morning that his new ride was outside.

"Baby,how did you get here?"-me

"Whatchu mean how I got here gurl.You do know I can drive right?" Keem said with a chuckle

"Duhh nigga don't get smart with me...and I was just asking because I heard you and Dell talking about a "new ride" this morning"-me

"Yea I had to get a new whip cause I really bout had a whole ass crash tryna get here"-Keem

"Ahhhh. That was my next question.So that's what took you so long?The crash"-me

"Yea and baby I'm so sorry for that.I should've never left in the first place" he said kissing my hand

He must take me for some kind of fucking.That must've have been one of the weakest car crashes ever cause this muthafucka don't have not one fucking scratch.

"It's ok.Your here now and that's all that matters.I'm just glad you made it here safely" I said with a smile

"Yea...Aye baby,do you think we fucked by leaving the house all to AJ?"-Keem

"Fashooo" I said laughing which made him laugh
