We all meet at the Black Lake for the second task.

As our group is walking to our seats, I passed none other than Olivia Beaumont who was ecstatic at the sight of me. "Joy!" She waves me down.

Tori is already about to attack her, but Blaise catches her before she could even step forward. Draco looks at me with worry before I decide to approach the blonde bimbo.

"Hello Olivia." She rubs my arm in sympathy, "I'm so sorry to hear about your Mother. If there's anything you need, please let me know." Her eyes saddened as she still managed to smile after saying the sentence. Her eyes wander to Draco, "Hi Draco."
I smile at her as a thank you for her offer. She turns back around to face back to the other Beauxbatons girls. I stare at the back of her head for a few more seconds, before I glide my foot along the pier, hitting hers, which makes her knees buckle and causes her to fall into the water.

She tries to stay afloat while crying for help. "Draco?! Help me!" She splashes the water around her in a panic.
I already begin to take our seats again, when Draco walks right behind me. I still hear the splashing behind us. "Feel better?" He asks. I pause, "Hm, a little."

The second task finished, with Diggory in first, Potter in second, Krum in third, and Fleur in fourth.

I break away from the group as we return to the castle. I end up in the library, to catch up on some reading.
A few hours go by... actually more than a few hours. Before I knew it, dinner was already in 30 minutes. I put the books away and head back to the dungeons to get ready for dinner.

On my way to the Great Hall, I realize I'm not even hungry. So I decided to skip dinner and wander the castle a bit. I'm not sure if by coincidence or happenstance, but I end up at the bottom of the astronomy tower. I look up the stairs before thinking to myself, 'they really gotta stop making so many stairs in this place.'

I walk up the steps and see that the tower is actually occupied.

Draco's leaning against the railing, that overlooks Hogwarts Lake. I don't think he heard me coming up the steps, as my voice startled him.
"I didn't know you were up here."
He flinches and turns around, "Bloody hell, Joy."

I walk over to join him at the railing, "Why aren't you at dinner?" He looks at me, "I could ask you the same." I respond, "Not hungry."

It's kind of awkward between us now. Draco kissed Olivia. He knows that I know. He confessed his feelings the other day, and neither of us brought it up again after that. He knows that I'm still bothered by it, but we just kind of... ignored that it happened.

"I don't think I've apologized to you yet." Draco looks down at the railing before looking at me. I kept my focus on the mountains in the distance, but I can feel his eyes on me.
"Joy, I'm so sorry. I don't know what came over me that night. You told me to stay away from her, and I didn't." I still kept my focus on the mountains. I really didn't expect for him to be apologizing right now. I'm actually speechless.
Draco grabs my hand, which caught me by surprise. I look at our hands before looking up to him, who's already staring at me. "I meant what I said that night in the common room," he's looking at me and I start to get lost in his eyes again. He goes on, "I like you, Joy. Only you."
"Draco—"

Before I knew it, he brought my lips to his. I melted at his touch as his hand cups my face. His hands moves to my hair as he pulls my head towards him, intensifying the kiss.

As much as I love how this makes me feel... I know it's not right.

My hands grip his as I pull myself away from him, "Draco—"
He bites his lower lip and he looks down at the ground before letting go, "...You don't forgive me."
I step back from him, "I can't... not right now anyway."
Draco turns back to lean against the railing again. I'm now standing a few feet away from him. I try to think of something to say to him, but... instead I left him at the astronomy tower, alone.
