Hogwarts has been quiet since the day of Cedric Diggory's death.
Hufflepuffs have been grieving the lost of their prefect as Cho Chang has been sobbing non-stop.
Everyone's hearts are broken as the golden boy left us all too soon.

Everyone is packing up their suitcases as we leave Hogwarts day after tomorrow. There's a ceremony in honor of Cedric that Dumbledore has organized and the entire student body, including Beauxbaton and Durmstrang is welcomed to join.

I've never seen the Great Hall so full of students.

I sit with Blaise and Tori, as Chelsie and Harper sit in front of us. We're waiting for all the other students to settle in before getting started.
Harry sits a few rows ahead of me and looks to the back of the room. His eyes met mine as I give him a half-smile. He returned one as well before refacing the front. It's not long before Draco and the Goons come by and sit with us. Draco takes the empty seat next to me. The Goons behind us.

Dumbledore sits on a throne, in the front of the Great Hall. He leans on the arm ready before speaking.
"Today, we acknowledge a really terrible loss. Cedric Diggory was as you all know, exceptionally hard working, intricately fair minded. And most importantly, a fierce, fierce friend. I think, therefore, you have the right to know exactly how he died. You see, Cedric Diggory was murdered by Lord Voldemort."

Draco and I glance at each other for a second before turning our attention back to Dumbledore.

"Remember that Cedric Diggory will not have died in vain, you will remember that. And we'll celebrate a boy who was kind and honest and brave and true, right to the very end."

We said goodbye to the Beauxbaton girls and Durmstrang boys as they take their leave. I made sure to say goodbye to Viktor before he left. I tell him to visit me when he can, and he tells me to owl him whenever I can. He kisses my forehead before saying goodbye to Hermione.

I bid farewell to Madame Maxine, as I know I will not be visiting Beauxbatons any time soon. On my way back, I bumped into someone wearing the familiar blue uniform.
The world just loves me, huh?

"Joy." Olivia fixes her dress and hat.
"Olivia."
She pushes a strand of hair away from her face, "I would say I hope to see you again, but we both know that's a lie." I sigh, "Finally. Something we both can agree on."

"You mean, other than how good Draco is at kissing?" She smiles before turning to join the other Beauxbaton girls. I roll my eyes, as I know this is the last time I will ever see her again... this will be worth it.

I grab her shoulder, swing her around to face me and landed a full blasted punch right on her nose. Her head flew back at the impact. Everyone around us stepped back as the whack was kind of loud enough to catch a lot of their attention.
She holds her nose in pain and a stream of blood starts to drip down one of her nostrils. "You bitch!" She screams. "Yeah, well that's another thing we agree on." I walk away from her, grinning.

We're all waiting to board the train to bring us back to Kings Cross Station. I'm huddled with Tori, Chelsie and Harper talking about our plans for the summer.

"Hey Deveroux!" I see a boy making his way over to me.
"Yeah?" I reply.
"Adrian Pucey." He puts his hand out for a shake. I welcome it, "Joy Deveroux." He smiles, "I know, I've seen you around Slytherin House." I raise one eyebrow, "So you've been watching me, then?" He shrugs his shoulders, "Something like that."

He pulls me to the side, "What are your plans for the summer?" I pull out one of my books in my bag, "Reading."He laughs, "Reading? Seriously?" I stuff the book back into my bag, "Yeah. What about it?"
He pulls out a piece of parchment from his pocket. "Owl me. Maybe we can hang out." I hesitate for a second before actually grabbing the parchment from his fingers before saying, "Don't hold your breath."

He leans over to whisper into my ear, "By the way, you're looking really good today... but you always look good." He gives me a wink before returning back to his friends, who were apparently watching us the whole time.

I don't know what that was, but I kind of like it.

I don't realize I'm smiling until Tori interrupts me, "What was that about?"
I turn to her, "Adrian Pucey? Ever heard of him?" She looks at him as he's talking with his friends. "Two years older than us. I've seen him around. Supposedly the only person on the Quidditch team that plays fair."
"Hm." I purse my lips together in thought.
Tori turns to me, "Why do you ask?"
"He's kind of cute, right?" Tori nods her head up and down, "Nope." I raise my eyebrows in question, "Sorry, Blaise could be around here somewhere." I laugh at her stupidity and Adrian looks my way. I return the look before looking down at the ground. Am I... blushing?
