Draco spent the last 36 hours studying, reading, trying to figure out a sure fire way to fix the Vanishing Cabinet. He sighs and closes the last book he could find in the library that could help him. Well, besides what's in the restricted section.

He takes a look at the grand clock near the librarian: 7:54. Dinner has started, but he's not even hungry. He puts away all the books he's read and leaves the library.

He walks up to the astronomy tower. The one place that can make him feel slightly better. He enjoys the cold breeze that brushes against his skin. The moon shining down on Hogwarts Lake, creating a soft reflection to shine against it. He looks down at the large oak tree that stands near Hogwarts Lake, one of Joy's favorite places.

An overwhelming wave of sadness washes over him. He's doing this for her, just like how she forgot everything for him. He hates that he can't hold her, kiss her, play with her hair, hug her. He can't do any of it. He aches for her touch, for her presence.
He grips his ring chain tightly, and walks down the steps to the Room of Requirement... but grabs a green apple from the Great Hall first.

Draco calmly walks down the corridor and peaks around the corner. He makes sure that no one was around as he walks a little farther down to the empty wall. He closes his eyes and thinks of the room. The wall changes into the same door, covered with bells and whistles, and he quietly sneaks inside.

The moon shines through the glass windows of the Room of Requirement as Draco walks up to the tall object, covered in a cloak. He pulls off the covering and reveals a refurbished cabinet, thanks to Joy. He glides the back of his hand against the wood before reaching for the dark grey handle.
He wings to door open and examines the inside. Seems plain enough. He placed the apple in the center of the cabinet before closing the door. He takes a step back and whips out his wants from his pocket located into he inside of his jacket. He points it to the cabinet and closes his eyes and whispers, "Harmonia Nectere Passus."

He stares at the cabinet, for a few minutes and nothing happens. He opens the cabinet door and see that the apple is still in the same spot that he placed it.

He closes the cabinet and tries again.

And again.

And again.

I grew bored being pent up in my bedroom when I have this entire house to myself. I decide to go exploring.

I peak my head out the door and look down the left of the hallway, then to the right. Seems like the right side has more rooms to explore, so I head in that direction.

I see double doors at the end of the hallway and decide to start there. I turn the locks and push both doors open. It's the master bedroom, so I'm guessing Deveroux's old bedroom?

It's slightly dusty. Obvious that he hasn't been home long before I've arrived. Perhaps this was his second home, only to use when needed.
I walk over to the dresser and see a few picture frames laying on top. I pick up a frame and see Deveroux hand in hand with a woman, I'm guessing his wife since it looks like it's a wedding picture.
His wife was pretty. How the hell did he score her? I place the picture frame down and run a finger against the wood of the dresser. Dust collects at my fingertips as I rubs it off with my thumb. I notice that there's a place in the dresser where it looks like a another picture frame used to sit, but now it seems like it's missing. Not a lot of dust collected in the empty space, so you could tell that the frame was recently removed. Perhaps it was a picture of his daughter, since I can't seem to find a single picture of her anywhere in this house.

I move over to the closet and look at the clothes hanging on the rod. I slide the hangers from one side to the other, judging the style of the Deveroux family.
I'm intrigued when I see a small door hidden behind all the clothing. I turn the knob and see a key hanging by a single hook with a note attached to it.
